From the streets of Guadalajara to the search for a forever home, Rue's journey is one of resilience, growth, and love. When Rue was rescued in Mexico, she was given something every dog deserves: a safe place to land, people who believed in her, and the chance to simply be a dog. Since coming into our care, Rue has truly blossomed. She is now a healthy, confident, playful young dog with so much love to give. Rue is the kind of dog who makes life more fun. She loves walks, adventures, car rides, playing with other dogs, and discovering new things alongside her people. She is intelligent and eager to learn, making training and enrichment activities especially rewarding for her. Interactive toys, balls, tug games, and anything that gets her moving are sure to bring out her happy, playful side. But there's another side to Rue that makes her such a wonderful companion. After a day of exercise and adventure, she knows how to settle down and enjoy the quieter moments. She loves being close to her family and fits nicely into household routines. She is playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without demanding constant attention, and curious about the world around her. Rue would thrive with an active family who wants more than just a pet - she wants to be part of the adventure.
