Loki is up for ADOPTION! He came to us as an owner surrender due to housing issues, which we are encountering more and more of these days, it seems like. He needs socialization and a confidence boost, but he has gotten along with other pups so far! He's pretty terrified in the shelter, but once he goes out into the play yard, his free spirit opens right up! He's still a bit timid, but he's a smart cookie and should be a cinch to train! Meet Miss Maeve — a lovely 5-ish year-old Malinois who is settling into her foster home. Originally found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, she was adopted quickly once her hold was up. Unfortunately, due to her strong prey drive (especially toward cats), her new home just wasn’t the right fit. Maeve is still very malnourished and emaciated from her time as a stray. Since leaving the shelter she has been steadily putting on weight. With continued good nutrition, a loving environment, and a little time, she'll be back to the lively energetic dog she's meant to be. ✨ What we’re learning about Maeve: • Incredibly sweet temperament • LOVES attention and affection • A total cuddle bug • Will absolutely thrive with someone who understands the Malinois drive • Best suited to a cat-free home with structure and love Give this girl a little time, and she’s going to make an amazing companion. Stella is a beautiful 10-month-old Belgian Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix, weighing around 45 pounds. She’s a super smart, energetic girl who is always ready for her next adventure! Stella loves zoomies, long walks, and trips to the dog park/doggy daycare. Fetch might still be a mystery to her, but she makes up for it by being an absolute champ at tug-of-war! Once she finally slows down, she turns into the sweetest, most cuddly pup who wants nothing more than to be close to her human. This bright girl is crate trained, housebroken, and a very quick learner. She’s still working on leash manners—mostly because she thinks you should walk as fast as she does! Stella rides great in the car and settles well once she’s had her play time. Stella hasn’t been fully tested with cats, as the cats in her foster home aren’t fans of dogs. She would do great with kids and could thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a confident, playful dog sibling. She would love a home with room to run or a human who enjoys staying active with her. Stella is a loving, joyful, silly girl who will bring so much happiness to the lucky family who chooses her.
