Born October 24 2024 Chai is a young female German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois mix. Chai is seeking a family of her very own-she is energetic, playful and all around fun loving. She is house broken, crate trained and decent on leash. She gets along well with most dogs -cats are an unknown. Chai would love a home that will continue training-keep her mentally and physically challenged and include her in all aspects of daily life. We do recommend a home with a secure 6 ft foot fence and if any children live in the home, that they are over age 5.

Story
Hank is a German Shepherd/Malinois mix (70/30) born August 20, 2024. He came to Mikeys suffering from Parvo, but is now all fixed up. Hank’s initial greet is shock and awe as he tries to protect his people and his space. However, about one minute in, he wants to learn more about you, and will ultimately be the best cuddle bug you can ever imagine. While he will display teeth, there is no bite to follow. Hank is fully house trained. He has a rock-solid kennel recall, and with a Kong will spend time amusing himself for a couple of hours. He has a great sit and down and is always eager to learn new tricks. He is definitely food motivated. He is good on-leash when it’s just Hank and his human. When off-leash, he has a very good recall. He hasn’t quite learned what “chasing the ball” is all about, but when others are playing, he’s along for the fun. Cats seem to fascinate him, so any interactions should be closely monitored. He gets along fine with some cats. Not so well with others. His demeanor may be a little much for younger non-dog-savvy kids. He very much likes to control his territory, so when UPS comes to the door, Hank will let them know that they have to get by him first. He’s become a very enjoyable part of our family, and our pack, in just a few months. With love, consistency and training he will be a wonderful addition to your home. He’s an active, fun-loving boy who would happily play fetch for quite a while or head out for long walks. He walks beautifully on leash and does not tug, making outings relaxed and enjoyable. After a good game of fetch or time spent exploring, Joe loves to settle down around you or rest by your side, soaking up the companionship he craves. He thrives on being close to his people and does best when he isn’t left alone for long periods. Joe does have a bit of an escape-artist streak, so he’ll need either a secure, specialized outdoor kennel or a home where he can stay close by your side or have a canine friend for company.
