Story
Gunner is a sweet, 3-year-old Shepherd mix who’s ready to find his forever home. This energetic boy loves to run and is always on the lookout for his next adventure. Because of his curious nature, Gunner can be a bit of an escape artist, he’s been known to hop over 4-foot fences, so we recommend keeping a close eye on him while he’s outside. Gunner is incredibly food-motivated and will happily show off his good manners for a tasty treat. He can be protective of his food around people, so it’s best to give him space during mealtimes as a simple precaution to keep everyone comfortable and safe. He has previously lived with cats and did fairly well, though slow, thoughtful introductions are still recommended. Gunner can be a little wary when meeting new people, but once he has a chance to sniff and get to know them, he warms up nicely. If you’re looking for an active, outdoorsy companion with a big heart and a love for adventure, Gunner could be the perfect match for you!
