DOB 1-29+2025 Gorgeous Evie loves to play with her friends and toys, she gets along with everyone and is social with all people. This girl of course has lots of energy, she is crate trained, around 60 [pounds and working on leash training. Evie is spayed, up to date on shots, Heartworm negative and has received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. Her adoption fee is 600.00* The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Brownie! 👑🐾 Brownie is a 1½-year-old, 42-pound Shepherd mix who is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and absolutely convinced the world revolves around her! ❤️ And honestly… she may have a point. 😉 Brownie’s story began when someone found her as a puppy in South Texas in horrible condition. She was covered in fleas and ticks, frightened, and in desperate need of help. Thankfully, her finders took her in and gave her a chance. But as Brownie grew, so did her puppy energy. Her family realized they weren’t prepared for the energy and needs of a young dog and considered taking her to the pound. Rather than allow this sweet girl to face an uncertain future, they chose to surrender her to a wonderful sanctuary where she would be safe. Brownie has now been at the sanctuary for seven months, and sadly, no one has chosen her yet. And it’s absolutely no fault of her own. 💔 Brownie is a wonderful girl who is ready for a family that will appreciate her big personality, give her plenty of love, and keep her busy with all the things she enjoys. 👑 Meet the Diva Brownie is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and definitely knows what she wants! She is a vocal girl and will happily let you know when something doesn’t meet her very high Queen Brownie standards. 😂 Does she like something? She’ll tell you. Does she NOT like something? Oh, you’ll definitely hear about that too! She has a wonderfully expressive personality and a funny little diva streak that will keep her family laughing. Brownie loves attention and firmly believes that she should be the center of yours. ❤️ 🐕 Dog Friendly Brownie loves other dogs and would be perfectly happy sharing her home with another canine companion. That said, she would also be completely fine as your one-and-only dog. As long as she has her people, plenty of attention, and opportunities to play, Brownie is happy. 👧 Great with Kids Brownie would do well with children and would love having kids around to play with and shower her with attention. 🐱 Cats Brownie has not yet been formally cat-tested, but given her sweet and social demeanor, we believe she may do well with cats. A proper introduction and supervision would, of course, be important. 🏡 Working on Her House Manners Brownie is crate-trained and is currently working on mastering her house training. She’s a smart young girl who just needs a family willing to continue helping her learn. With patience, consistency, and a regular routine, Brownie should continue making great progress. 🥾 An Active Girl Looking for an Active Family Brownie has energy to burn and would love a family who enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and outdoor activities. She enjoys her walks and would do wonderfully with regular neighborhood walks. She also loves playing with toys and would be thrilled to have a family who wants to spend time playing with her. Hi my name is Loki. I am hoping to find my new forever home!I suffered a tremendous loss when my human mom passed away after a brief battle with cancer. I am being fostered by my pet sitter so I didn't end up in a shelter but I'd like my own forever home. About me: I am a chocolate lab mix (a little shepherd/husky). I do have a double coat. I can be a lap dog at times, I walk well using a gentle leader, I'm great in the car, crate trained, have no separation anxiety, I enjoy playing in water on warm days and daily long walks where I love to randomly plop and roll in the grass. I'm told I'm a little goofy and also very handsome. I need to be an only pet in the house. Absolutely NO cats. An experienced big dog owner would be ideal for me but anyone interested in me please reach out!!!I do need an active person so we can enjoy eachothers company on daily walks.
