Story
Skye is a female Belgium Malinois.Skye is a super chill girl who is eager for adventure and to find her new family! Skye is always smiling and absolutely loves the people she's decided are her friends. Once you're on Team Skye, you are in! She is all about big adventures, going on walks, and exploring the wide-open world. She does amazingly well on a leash, making her a good hiking buddy. Once she gets to know you, it is constant cuddles. Skye needs you to be her pack leader and to let her know everything is good, to be ready for her to look to you for direction and respond to your moods. Skye would do best in a home with no other dogs, no kids, and possibly a cat - she would prefer to be your one and only!To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Rip a 4 yr old, Malinois/Belgian Shepherd mix. He is a big boy at 90lbs. Rip is very intelligent and eager to please. He is very food motivated. He knows many basic commands, including sit, touch, down, paw and is working on roll over. He is also crate trained. Rip enjoys going on long walks with staff and volunteers. Rip's walking ability has received glowing reviews, as our walkers have told us he is one of the most enjoyable dogs to walk. Rip enjoys human interaction, and will ask for attention and affection at any given opportunity. Like any good dog he loves a butt scratch, a belly rub and a head pat. As for other dogs, Rip is selective. He enjoys the company of a dominant female, who can doll out and receive some rough and rowdy play. As much as he loves kids of all ages, due to his size and general doofiness a home with children is not recommended. Rip is also not suitable for a home with cats. For more information on Rip Wheeler, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for a pre adopt application. Adoption fees for Dogs (8yrs and up) is $150 Adult Dogs is $400 and Puppies under a year is $500

Story
Rudy is a young Malinois mix puppy making his way to Albany, NY and he is looking for a committed, experienced home. This boy is full of energy, drive, and intelligence everything you’d expect from this incredible breed. He will need a home that understands the needs of a working dog, can provide structure, training, and daily mental and physical stimulation. Breed knowledge is strongly preferred as Malinois are not your average puppy and thrive in the right hands. We rescued Rudy from Harris County Shelter in Texas where his future was uncertain, and now he has a chance at the life he deserves. He is still just a puppy and with the right guidance will grow into an amazing, loyal companion. If you are experienced with the breed and ready to give Rudy the time, commitment, and leadership he needs, please apply below: https://www.trinafriendsk9rescue.org/new-page #malinois #belgianmalinois #malinoismix #rescuepuppy #adopt #adoptdontshop #rescuedog #dogrescue #puppylife #workingdog #dogsofinstagram #adoptme #fosteringsaveslives #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #texastonewyork #northeastadopters #albanyny #trinaandfriends #k9rescue

Story
Bogey #A5766072 was surrendered by his family after an alleged bite incident. The claim is that he bit someone on the buttocks while they were entering the yard. We do not know the full circumstances surrounding what happened, and shelter notes can never tell the complete story. What we do know is the dog standing in front of us today. Bogey is a young 2-year-old Shepherd/Malinois mix currently being fostered in Bayville, NJ. Since leaving the shelter environment, he has shown himself to be a sensitive, affectionate, and loving boy who enjoys being around people and does well with other dogs. Cats are currently unknown. Bogey is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and very receptive to training. Like many working breeds, he will need a knowledgeable adopter who understands Shepherds and Malinois-type dogs and is committed to continuing his training and providing the structure he thrives on. In the right hands, Bogey has the potential to become an amazing companion and partner. We cannot say enough good things about this boy. He simply needs the right person willing to see him for who he is and give him the opportunity he deserves. Not every dog is for every home, but we truly believe Bogey's person is out there. If you're experienced with the breed and looking for a loyal, intelligent, and devoted companion, Bogey may be the dog you've been waiting for. Apply to adopt through Trina & Friends K9 Rescue. We adopted Hilda from a farm in PA. She was the runt of the litter with a timid personality. She can sit, stay, laydown, come here, go inside & shake. She gets a yearly allergy shot & flea and tick. In need of dental cleaning. She has some crusty ear issue & occassional hot spots on elbows but is fine other than that. She is fixed. She is good w people but will occassionaly chase cats, squirrels what have you with no violent intention. Shes more curious & playful. She is not violent & has never bit but she junps when excited. Shes house trained & will use same location for potty. She can be a picky eater. Prefers human food. Chicken LOVERShe loves walks & hikes & being chased around. She will sleep on couch if you allow it but likes her doggy bed which we replace often becuase she loves dirt. Shes tough to keep clean because shes an indoor/outdoor doggo. She needs a yard or owners who will walk her alot. Monthly grooming. Good girl. Deserves better owner unfortunately.

Story
Hi my name is Loki. I am hoping to find my new forever home! I suffered a tremendous loss when my human mom passed away after a brief battle with cancer. I am being fostered so I didn't end up in a shelter. About me: I am a chocolate lab mix (probably a little shepherd/husky). I do have a double coat. I can be a lap dog at times, I walk well using a gentle leader, I'm great in the car, crate trained, have no separation anxiety, I enjoy playing in water on warm days and daily long walks where I love to randomly plop and roll in the grass. I'm told I'm a little goofy and also very handsome. I am also very well trained but my foster mom will offer my new forever person training. I would prefer to be an only pet in the house. Absolutely NO cats. An experienced big dog owner would be ideal for me but anyone interested in me please reach out!!! I do need an active person so we can enjoy eachothers company on daily walks. Can't wait to find my new forever person/people!
