Story
DOB 1-29+2025 Gorgeous Evie loves to play with her friends and toys, she gets along with everyone and is social with all people. This girl of course has lots of energy, she is crate trained, around 50 [pounds and working on leash training. Evie is spayed, up to date on shots, Heartworm negative and has received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. Her adoption fee is 600.00 and transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC, they run every other week to stops in the N.E. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Say hello to Kaladin! This handsome pup came to the shelter as a stray and now he is ready to find his furever home. He is a big puppy at heart, and will need some training to be a good canine citizen. Kaladin is very sweet and enjoys getting attention from people. He can be a bit shy around other dogs but may do well with a proper introduction. We are not sure how he feels about cats but is also willing to try. Since he can be a bit rowdy when he plays, any kids in the home should be 5 and older who can handle his energy. Kaladin has the potential to be a fantastic companion so don`t miss your chance to adopt him soon!If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Meet Bruno! This handsome boy is a 2.5 year old Shepherd mix Having come from a back.round of neglect, Bruno caught the eye (and heart) of the animal control officer on his case and she took him home to foster. He has been thriving ever since and is the happiest boy.   He is crate trained and house trained. He is quiet in his kennel. He has learned Sit, Stay, Down, and Place and would love to continue learning (like most shepherds, as they enjoy using their brains)! Bruno needs an active family who has experience with shepherds since he is very in-tune with his handler. He relies on his handler for confidence and calmness, otherwise he can be a stereotypical reactive shepherd on walks.    Bruno shares his foster home with other dogs, a cat, and two sheep. He has shown mild food guarding with other dogs, though it is easily managed by feeding him in his crate. To set him up for success in his future home, he should be fed separately. If he were to go to a home with a cat, the cat should be dog savvy, otherwise he may be too interested and try to chase.   Bruno has met older children and has done well. He would do best with children 16+ since he tends to need proper introductions with people. He meets people easily while on a walk and is wiggly and seeks attention from them within a couple of minutes.   With the right handler Bruno is wonderful and has so much potential. He is currently being walked on a training collar and is doing well going for long walks, hikes, and to the park.   Bruno is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. You can apply for him by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.Petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch. June 5, 2026, 4:30 pm

Story
Say hello to the stunning Stormie! This young gal came to the shelter as a stray and is now ready to find her furever home. She is a nervous nelly but very tolerant and she does crave affection once she lets her guard down. She does ask that any kids in the home be 3 and older, but she is willing to possibly live with other animals with proper introductions. In fact, a confident canine companion may benefit her so she can come out of her shell. She does need some basic training and she is a smart pup with a lot of potential. We are not sure what her past was like but with patience and TLC she will certainly have a bright future! If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
