She is the type of dog that would do anything to keep her people safe.Due to our busy schedules and the recent loss our family has experienced, we are no longer able to give Kira the time, exercise, and attention she deserves. This has been a very difficult decision, but we want to do what’s best for her.We are looking for a loving home with someone who has the time, space, and experience to help her thrive. He was surrendered to the local animal control shelter as he was abandoned by his owner with a family member who could not keep him or provide for him. He is 72 lbs. Luca is such a good boy! Typical of any shepherd mixes what have been through lot of changes in a short time, he was at first a bit nervous and unsure with us but is quickly adjusting. He does well with our volunteers, is interested in the outdoors and is just fun boy. He is an active dog that is looking for an equally active home. Luca prefers to be your one and only dog. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. If you are looking for an adventure partner, look no further than Bruno!!   This handsome boy is a 2 year old Shepherd mix that weighs in at a healthy 80lbs. Having come from a background of neglect, Bruno caught the eye (and heart) of the animal control officer on his case and she took him home to foster. He has been thriving ever since and is the happiest boy. He is grateful to be safe and loved and has shown himself to be very loyal.   Bruno is crate trained and house trained. He is quiet in his kennel. He is a smart boy who is off leash and e collar trained. Bruno needs an active family who has experience with large dogs since he relies on his handler for confidence and calmness. He is well behaved on walks and hikes, making him the perfect adventure partner!    Bruno shares his foster home with 5 dogs, a cat, and two sheep. He has shown mild resource guarding with other dogs, though it is easily managed. To set him up for success in his future home, he should be fed separately from other dogs. If he were to go to a home with a cat, the cat should be dog savvy, otherwise he may be too interested and try to chase.   Bruno has met older children and has done well. He would do best with children 16 + due to his size and energy level.    Bruno is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
