Story
Bacon is a 5-year-old GSD, born in an accidental litter outside of Austin, TX. Unfortunately, as a puppy, Bacon was mistreated by someone in our life and has severe anxiety and some reactivity as a result. I will be moving into a home with young children soon, and I do not have the resources, time, skill, or training knowledge to best support him and ensure he is safe for the kids to be around. He loves my other two dogs, but he has displayed aggression with other dogs and some aggression with new humans (nipping). Bacon would do great as an only dog to a person or couple that have some experience with reactive dogs and can give him the attention and support he deserves. He has a ton of energy and LOVES to play fetch, so a big yard would be ideal. He has a lot of anxiety on walks, but he has gotten better at running on leash in the last year. Bacon is full of personality, extremely loyal and loving, and goofy and playful when he feels safe.

Story
Chestnut is a big, playful boy who’s ready to find a home and family that can match his energy! He may not realize just how big he is, occasionally parkouring off his favorite people, but it’s all in good fun and part of his joyful, exuberant personality. Chestnut has been social and friendly with everyone he’s met here and is always eager to make new friends. While his past remains a mystery, one thing is certain: his future will be bright once he finds his people to share it with.

Story
Koda is a 8-year-old German Shepherd originally rescued in Yokosuka, Japan when he was just 1 yr old. He is from a family of police dogs, but did not undergo formal training due to abandonment. He has completed basic obedience and is a very loving boy. He is looking for a best friend who will be his companion for the rest of his life. We have had Koda for over 5 years now and never thought we would be in a position to have to rehome, but life threw a curveball at us and we know Koda deserves better than what we can give him now. Koda suffers from separation anxiety, but we are hoping the right person who can meet his needs will ease this transition for him. Koda may need formal behavioral training due to his reactivity from years of under-stimulation. It is imperative to us that he does not get rehomed again after this, so we are urging anyone interested to please reconsider if you have young children, a small breed dog, a geriatric animal, or cats (Koda does not know his size).
