Celeste was dumped at a local park and was verrrrry pregnant with nine puppies before TRAPRS Rescue took her in on the eve of a Central Texas ice storm. Now, her pups are grown and she's ready for her forever family! Despite her traumatic past, Celeste is a gentle soul who loves snuggles, treats, naps, and ear scritches. Her perfect family would be low-key, have a very comfy couch, and be ready to make up for all the cuddles and love she missed out on in her previous life when she was abandoned. Celeste has a few pending medical needs (she is heartworm positive and can't be spayed until her heartworms are gone), but these are both treatable and TRAPRS will cover ALL of these medical costs. More than anything in the world, sweet Celeste wants her own family who will be hers forever and shower her with the attention and kindness she is so worthy of. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. Sasha’s story: We rescued Sasha a couple years ago from San Antonio. Sasha was found in a box with her siblings when she was a puppy and was positive with parvo. Sasha is very loyal and willing to listen to commands. She loves playing ball! She is very timid and does lack confidence in herself so we are looking for the right loving forever home for her with someone who has the time to work on this with her. Unfortunately our son is allergic and we are having to rehome her. She is great with other dogs, kids and cats.
