Story
Meet Blossom! This beautiful one-year-old girl found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own and is ready to find the loving forever home she deserves.Blossom is the perfect blend of sweet and spunky. She has lived with people of nearly all ages and is known for her friendly, gentle nature. As a young dog, she still has plenty of playful energy and loves having fun with her family.Since arriving at the shelter, we`ve noticed that Blossom can be a bit shy when meeting new people and experiencing new surroundings. Shelter life can be overwhelming, and loud noises and busy environments can be scary for her at times. Because of this, she will benefit from a patient adopter who understands that she may need some time to decompress and settle into her new home.Once she begins to feel comfortable, Blossom`s loving personality starts to shine. She enjoys spending time with her people, soaking up affection, and often acts like a giant lap dog. Whether it`s playtime in the yard or relaxing on the couch, she loves being close to her family. This social girl has successfully lived with both dogs and cats and has even been a star student at doggy daycare. She also loves toys, especially plush ones, and considers herself an expert at removing every bit of stuffing she can find!Blossom has been doing great with her training and already knows `sit,` responds well to her name, and is comfortable spending time in her crate. With a consistent routine, she does very well with potty training.Blossom does have a high prey drive and loves to chase small animals outdoors, so her future family should keep that in mind during walks and outdoor adventures.Best of all, Blossom is ready to head home! She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on her core vaccinations, and current on flea and tick prevention. If you`re looking for an energetic companion, a playful best friend, and a loving cuddle buddy who just needs a little patience while she settles in, Blossom may be the perfect match for you. With time, understanding, and love, this sweet girl is sure to blossom into an incredible lifelong companion. If you are interested in adopting Blossom, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or feel free to take a peek during our open hours!
