Story
We adopted Apollo from a rescue in Texas July 2025. He’s abt 10 months old, estimated dob 5/9/2025. We are looking for a loving family, who will take good loving care of him. He’s the sweetest, smartest young dog and we are devastated to have to find him a new home. We were told he’d be good w/ cats, but he shouldn’t be in a home with them. He runs after them and plays too rough. He has been trained w/ many commands (“sit”, “down”, “wait”, “shake”, “crate”), mat trained, and is being retrained on walking (“with me”) after cold weather (no walking) causing him to forget. We are still working on “come.” He loves doing puzzles, running around outside, chasing balls, and playing a game of being chased. He also loves hugs and being pet, and enjoys chewing on sticks he finds in the yard. Vet says to neuter after 12mo old. He has added fiber and probiotics added to food after parasites when younger, which is likely only needed temporarily.

Story
Adorable Flora is ready to find her forever home! Flora came to us as a stray with her sister, Fauna. We’re not sure of her breed, but she’s definitely a big pup - already almost 70 lbs! Despite her size, she`s very gentle. While we`re working on her jumping up to greet people, she`s always gentle about it. Flora loves people and wants to hug and give face kisses to anyone she meets. Once she settles down, she`ll happily sit by your feet for pets and attention. She`s a lovebug who`s eager to please! She`s been in a foster home for a few weeks and has been slowly but surely learning house manners. Potty-training is still new to her but she`s made great progress! Her foster mom said that as soon as she figured out their doggie door, she never had another accident in the house. Flora`s also improving on her walking skills and already knows `sit`! Flora has done well with other dogs and has been getting along with several dogs in her foster home. We believe a home with an adult dog to show her the ropes would be a great fit for Flora. Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.

Whether it’s exploring the backyard, chasing toys, or snuggling up after a busy day, she’s all in. But let’s keep it real for a second… She’s a PUPPY. That means potty training, crate training, learning manners, and lots (and lots) of patience. She’s not a “plug and play” dog—she’s a commitment. The kind that takes time, consistency, and love. And yes… she WILL grow. That tiny, adorable fluff ball? She’s going to be a good-sized girl who will need exercise, structure, and continued training to thrive. If you’re ready for the puppy phase AND the lifelong best friend that comes after it, she just might be your perfect match. Ready to grow up together? ✨ Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc.
