Story
Java was adopted from Animal House Shelter on November 27, 2021, after my wife and I bought our first home and were preparing to start a family. She’s been one of the best parts of my life—loyal, gentle, and loving. Java is well-trained, on a consistent feeding/walking schedule, and has a special bond with our young daughter. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming separation and an uncertain living situation, I can no longer provide the stability Java deserves. This decision is incredibly difficult, but it’s being made out of love. I’m not asking for an adoption fee—My only hope is to find someone who will love and care for her the way we have.

Story
Dynamo is described by his foster as the super sweet puppy who flies under the radar. He is the second smallest of his litter, and loves to snuggle up and cuddle with anyone who will let him! While he is overall pretty chill, he doesn't forget to tell his littermates who is boss when he needs to. Dynamo and his littermates were born in Wisconsin, after their very pregnant momma arrived from Texas on November 14th...just hours before going into labor with the pups on November 15th. He’s had a calm, loving start to life, giving him a great foundation as he grows. Sky gets along great with other dogs, is fostered with children and loves them, and has started his potty training. His new family should be prepared to continue with his training as he learns the new routine in his forever home. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and vet checked, and he comes with his medical records. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Story
Meet Sheriff! Don’t let his size fool you—Sheriff may be the smallest of the litter, but he’s got a big, bold personality to match his name. This spunky, feisty little shepherd puppy is full of curiosity and confidence, always ready to investigate new sights, sounds, and toys. He’s playful, energetic, and knows how to keep things entertaining with just the right amount of puppy mischief. Sheriff is already making great progress with potty training and will go outside when taken out on a schedule. He loves playing with other dogs and holds his own despite being the littlest one. He absolutely adores kids and happily follows them around to see what they’re up to, making him a fun and engaging companion for a family. Like most puppies his age, Sheriff is in a nippy phase and will benefit from continued positive training, structure, and plenty of appropriate chew toys. Because he’s a shepherd with a feisty streak, experience with shepherds or other high-drive dogs would be a big plus. Sheriff is ready to trade his badge for a forever home filled with love, laughter, and lots of cuddles. If you’re looking for a pint-sized pup with a big personality, Sheriff could be your pawfect match!   Sheriff's  Adoption fee is $300 if adopted by 1/30. Sheriff is eligible for our Puppy Starter Package, included in his $300 adoption fee. New puppy parents will go home with a small bag of puppy food, martingale collar, leash, a small Mumbies chew, and puppy treats — everything you need to start off with success from day one.     All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2621186##

Story
Meet Mario, a shepherd puppy who is impossible to resist. With his sleek black coat and expressive little face, he turns heads wherever he goes—but it’s his personality that truly steals the show. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends, whether that’s with people or toys. Mario is doing well with his potty training and is learning the ropes with regular trips outside. He adores kids and thrives on interaction, soaking up attention and giving plenty of kisses in return. He loves soft toys, snuggles, and snacks, but strongly dislikes being cold or outside for too long. He may also be part bat, as he’s always alert and keeping an eye on everything around him. Mario isn’t the biggest fan of baths, nail clipping, or rain, but with patience and positive reinforcement, he’s sure to gain confidence. Smart, active, and eager to learn, he’s a fun and rewarding pup who will grow into a great companion. If your home is ready for puppy antics, laughter, and lots of snuggles, Mario could be your Pawfect Match. Mario's Adoption fee is $300 if adopted by 1/30.
