Story
Hi there! My name is Pippa! I am 9-month-old female German Shepherd mix who weighs around 50lbs. I was originally found off of John King Blvd. and SH 276 on 3/13/24 and sadly never reclaimed. So now, I am available for adoption and am looking for my new Furever home. I am a sweet and submissive girl who really loves my people. RAC staff feels confident that I will do good around other dogs but if you have other dogs at home, a meet and greet is suggested to ensure we get along prior to adoption. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date and am heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. April 26, 2024, 3:46 am

Story
Hi. My name is Luna. I am a female 3 year old German Shepherd that weighs around 75 Lbs. I was surrendered on 04/02/2024 by my owner because they could no longer care for me. I am a very sweet girl who walks excellent on a leash and has a very sweet disposition. I would make an excellent companion for a single person or family. I do well with larger breed dogs and am not suggested with cats or small dogs. A meet and greet is encouraged if you have another dog in the home to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine, basic boosters to date and heartworm negative. Meet Ella! She's an approximately 1 year old, female, German Shephard mix who weighs around 57 lbs. She was surrendered on 04/19/2024 because her owners could not keep her. She is a very sweet girl who is shy at first. She loves pets and loves to go for walks outside in the sunshine! According to her previous owners, she gets along with dogs, cats and kids! She has not met another dog since coming to the shelter so a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure they get along. Her adoption fee is $125.
