Story
10 months old Cypress is an incredibly loving pup, who was saved from a high kill shelter in Houston. Cypress is shy at first, but a little petting and she is ready to melt and be velcro with you She will really do good in a home with a second dog, as she loves playing with her doggie foster siblings. She runs circles around her 4 year old foster doggie siblings. Cypress will make a great addition to any family. She is sweet and loving, and very obedient. She is also extremely well behaved. She has no resource guarding tendency. Cypress lives with 2 other dogs and a kitty, and her foster mom's grandkids in her foster home and gets along with everyone. Cypress is about 10 months old, and currently weighs around 50 lb. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Cypress' adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
2 yo Belgian malinois Mel and her 4 year old malinois mix sister Maddox are losing their home right around Thanksgiving time, as their parents are sadly getting a divorce and the sisters need to find a new home or go to shelter. These beloved family pets are now at risk of being separated unless we find someone who can adopt both of them. Mel and Maddox are perfect pups. They are good with dogs, cats, and kids. They live with a kitty, and two small children, and they love everyone. They are also very quiet for their breed, both choosing to play in their own yard instead of wanting a lot of exercise, and chilling with their families and napping. They are both housebroken, crate trained ad very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Mel and Maddox weigh 60 lb and are fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, heartworm negative and kept on proheart 12. They love to sunbathe, play and snuggle. The sudden change in their situation is stressful to their current mom who wants nothing but to find them a loving home where they can get the love they always shared. They now have only each other, therefore we are unwilling to separate them, as they really need each other. They are fully vetted, fixed and chipped. They would do good with anyone with previous husky experience. They are bonded, so they have to find a home where they can be adopted together. They are not tested with cats, and they do get excited upon seeing dogs. The pups are being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet these gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
