Story
10 months old Cypress is an incredibly loving pup, who was saved from a high kill shelter in Houston. Cypress is shy at first, but a little petting and she is ready to melt and be velcro with you She will really do good in a home with a second dog, as she loves playing with her doggie foster siblings. She runs circles around her 4 year old foster doggie siblings. Cypress will make a great addition to any family. She is sweet and loving, and very obedient. She is also extremely well behaved. She has no resource guarding tendency. Cypress lives with 2 other dogs and a kitty, and her foster mom's grandkids in her foster home and gets along with everyone. Cypress is about 10 months old, and currently weighs around 50 lb. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Cypress' adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
Meet LUCKY- He is a lucky dog indeed- This beautiful German Shepherd was found by a wonderful family on a busy Houston street with a chain around his neck. He had been hit by a car and then saved by the family who got him surgery back in May- He is 100 % healed. Lucky is about 1.5 years old and is neutered, UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative, and even HOUSEBROKEN He is playful and affectionate and knows all of the basic commands- He is not destructive in the house and simply loves to be with people- A house with a fenced yard would be the best environment for our Lucky dog- He is super smart and is often found waiting near the fridge where his special bones from the nearby meat market are waiting for him- He loves to swim, and while he prefers the pool, he is happy to wait by the hose for someone to play "catch the hose spray:" with him- From street dog to sweetheart- this boy has all the things!!! We are working on being quiet on the leash- but he is a quick study and wants nothing more than to please his people. He can be high-energy outside, but settles down quickly in the house. He was not interested in the dog we introduced him to He wanted to play- he, the other dog, didn't - so that was that He will be fine with kids- just not too little, as he is a big boy and a bit clumsy exposure to cats- He is ready to go home for the holidays!!

Story
Maya is mom to cowboy, rodeo, DAVIS, Teddy, Kizzy, and Ellie. She is a one-year-old German Shepherd, who is now spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchip. She is on heartworm and flea prevention. She is very friendly and playful. She likes other dogs. She does bark at the Foster‘s cat but does not really chase after her if not in the crate. However, because of the barking at the cat, we do recommend that she go to a home without Cats. She will be good with children and all humans. Please contact savapetwac@yahoo.com for an application. We do require the application prior to any meet and greets with our dogs. We do not require an in person home visit.

Story
Cowboy, Rodeo, Davis, and Teddy are male shepherd puppies - Maya’s (German shepherd dad unknown) babies are 4.5 mos old and are friendly and active and love to play. They are extremely sweet and love to be held. They are fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped as part of the adoption. They are already on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. They are great with other dogs. These puppies came from a high kill shelter and a desperate plea came for them and their momma a GSD named Maya and sav a pet rescued them. The momma and her 2 weeks old babies were set for euthanasia so sav a pet rescued them. They are in foster homes. They are crate trained and are learning to potty outside. We are working on house breaking but they are still very young. We require an approved adoption application before meeting our dogs. Contact savapetwac@yahoo.com to get additional information and the application. The puppies are located in Houston texas. And we welcome adopters from houston and also outside our area and out of state too.

Kizzy and Ellie are female shepherd puppies - Maya’s (German shepherd dad unknown) babies are 4.5 mos old and are friendly and active and love to play. They are extremely sweet and love to be held and cuddled - although Kizzy is very smart and active and will solicit play from her humans if being carried. Story
4 yo Belgian malinois mix Maddox and her 2 year old malinois sister Mel lost their parents, their homes, and siblings to divorce and overnight, her world collapsed. Maddox is a super sweet, almost perfect pup. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She lives with dogs, a kitty, and two small children, and gets along with everyone. She does love to play fetch, but mostly she is very quiet for her breed, and prefers chilling with her foster family. Maddox tends to be a bit more reserved and enjoys her own quiet space. Maddox is housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lb and is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, heartworm negative and kept on proheart 12. She loves to sunbathe, and snuggle. The sudden change in their situation has been very stressful to Maddox, so we would definitely like to find her a home where she gets lot of love, and affection. Maddox is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet our gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
