Hi! My name is Blaze and I am available for adoption!I was brought in as a stray, but my owners surrendered me on July 17, 2026 when they learned of my whereabouts.I am a medium to large breed dog and I weigh 66lbs. I am a bit overweight, so please keep that in mind when making my food!I am an older guy who is go-with-the-flow. I am potty trained, but at my older age I need a strict potty schedule to help me avoid any accidents. I am very fluffy and affectionate, but I am good at doing my own thing if I have a routine.I have been in foster since July and this is what they have to say about me, `Blaze is quiet, leash-trained and very food motivated. He`s low-keyed with other dogs and is shy when meeting new people. In spite of his age, Blaze can be quick on his feet and still likes to play with toys. He enjoys being outdoors and taking long car rides. When given the chance, Blaze loves a good roll in the grass on his back! Although hearing impaired, he responds to loud noises and hand gestures. He is most at ease in a quiet household where he receives gentle pets.`I`m currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the `read about our adoption process` link then `foster path` link!A note from the vet:Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) This pet came into us overweight. His body condition is 9/9 (1/9= emaciated, 9/9 = obese, 5/9 = ideal). We recommend following up with your primary veterinarian to discuss a healthy weight loss plan. Your veterinarian may recommend senior blood work and urinalysis. 2) This pet is senior at 11 years old. Many pets at this age have arthritis or joint related illness. He has recieved a basic exam here at the shelter and would benefit from a review with your veterinarian to keep him as healthy and comfortable as possible. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.

💙Jaxson💙is around 1.5 yrs old, still a puppy, weighs 45-50lbs pure love❤️ ! He’s a sweet and smart boy with the perfect balance of calm and play. He is eager and curious on walks (and making great progressive on walking loose leash!). At home, he loves bursts of fetch and find games but he also loves to chill (this includes getting some pets, being brushed, smelling the outside air, or sleeping). He becomes his most energetic and excited self at the dog parks and doggy daycare!😻 Jaxson would love to be in a home with an another dog! He has lived with other dogs before and loves having a dog buddy/sibling! Jaxson is potty trained, knows basic commands (sit, lay down, and come) and he is a quick learner! He doesn’t bark, the most he does is howl when reunited with his daycare pals or whine when he is feeling antsy on a walk! He loves to chew but he only stick to toys or cardboard boxes (he hasn’t chewed up a single home item in his foster’s home!) Overall, Jaxson is such a good boy and would be an amazing addition to a loving family🏡 . He is available for fostering, foster to adopt, or better yet, straight adoption! Already neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. Currently being cared in Southern California, Jaxson can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving experienced family awaits to welcome him.
