Story
He has been with the rescue for over a year and is still searching for his forever people. Nicky is a 1.5-year-old shepherd mix with the stunning shepherd look without the extra-large size. He’s a simple, sweet boy who just wants someone to love and a place to run around squeaking his toys. Add in a few walks and he’s one happy pup! He does well on leash (though he gets adorably excited when you grab it), rides great in the car, and can handle long stretches home alone. He’s crate trained and can also be trusted out of the crate. Nicky can be timid with new guests and may give them his hilarious “judgy” scoffs at first, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate and gives the best kisses. Because he sometimes uses his mouth when excited, he would do best with dog-savvy older kids rather than young children. Nicky has been fostered with both large and small dogs and can do well with certain dogs, especially in one-on-one settings. That said, he would likely have the smoothest transition into a home where he is the only dog, or with a calm, compatible companion. Dog parks aren’t recommended for him. He is also respectful and curious around the resident cat. Nicky has been patiently waiting for his forever home, he’s ready to love his people with his whole heart. To apply: Casadog.org/dogs

Story
Oso is a large rather playful dog. He loves going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. He likes to jump and play and dig holes. My 11 year old husky does not like oso and it's hard keeping them seperate. He's a good dog just needs someone with more time and someone able to work with him. He needs training for jumping on people and digging holes. Those are his flaws. Oso was my sons dog we've had him for almost 2 years and he was 6 months old when my son got him. My son moved out and could not take him. He needs room to run and someone that can give him time and work with him. I cannot. I have 3 cats and an elderly dog whom doesn't get along with Oso. He has potential to be a great guard and friend. I'm so sad to do this but I just cannot afford training or help with someone to get both dogs to co habitate

Story
It breaks my heart to say this, but I’m looking for a new home for my 9-year-old dog, Max. Max is a loyal and loving dog once he gets to know you. He forms strong bonds and can be incredibly sweet, affectionate, and protective with his person. However, he is aggressive toward people he doesn’t know, so he needs a patient and experienced owner who understands how to work with dogs that need time to build trust. Ideal home for Max: • Adult-only household (no kids) • No other pets • Someone patient, consistent, and willing to continue working with him • A calm environment where he can feel safe and secure Max deserves someone who can give him the time, structure, and attention he needs to thrive. Unfortunately, with my current family situation, I’m no longer able to provide that for him.
