Story
Beautiful big boy Jayce is about 4yrs old and he weighs 84lbs. He is a very tall boy, and he’s very athletic so a running partner would be perfect! Lots of hiking, long walks and jogging will be ideal, too. Jayce is mixed with something that gives him a curly tail. We don’t know the mix, but we do know he loves people so a large breed, shepherd experienced, social home would be best. He gets excited when he meets new people and will jump up for a greeting, so no little kids in the home is required. He is very intelligent and learns new commands quickly so after additional training he’ll be able to politely meet the children. Jayce is very selective of his female playmates and he does not like male dogs so he should be the only animal in the home. No kitties for Jayce. He is house and crate trained so he can stay home alone for a reasonable amount of time. He’s also a quiet boy that likes to relax with his person after a fun day of exercise. He can be an independent guy so he will explore and self entertain when he’s outside in a 6ft securely fenced yard. He’ll let you know when he wants to come back by standing at the back door so he can come back in to get a treat and then relax for awhile.

He’s best suited for: - A calm home (no young kids or busy foot traffic) - Someone experienced with working or herding breeds - A fenced yard or room to run - An active lifestyle with structure and patience He can be unsure around strangers and needs a little time to build trust—but once he bonds, he’s incredibly affectionate and devoted. Story
Name: Magno Breed: Belgian Maloinis Gender: Male About Magno: Introducing Magno, a remarkable 2-year-old Belgian Malinois whose intelligence, loyalty, and affectionate nature make him an exceptional companion. Found navigating the streets of Guadalajara, Magno was clearly a dog who had once known the comfort of a home but had been left to fend for himself. Despite his tough circumstances, Magno’s spirit remained unbroken, and he has since found solace with his rescuer, forming a strong bond and showing his true, loving nature. Magno embodies all the admirable traits of his breed: he is highly intelligent, intuitive, and deeply devoted. Known for their exceptional loyalty, Belgian Malinois form strong, one-on-one bonds with their humans, and Magno is no exception. He thrives on playtime, whether it’s with his fellow dogs or his human friends. Toys and treats are his treasures, lighting up his eyes and fueling his energetic spirit. With an investigative and observant nature, Magno delights in exploring every detail of his surroundings. His quick learning and constant thirst for knowledge are hallmarks of his breed, making him both a challenging and rewarding companion. Malinois are known for their need for mental and physical stimulation, and Magno is no different. He will flourish in a home where he is given ample exercise and opportunities to engage in activities that stimulate his mind and body. Magno’s loyalty is unwavering, but he can be protective of his person, especially around other male dogs. This trait, coupled with his alpha male disposition, means he will thrive best in a home with experience in handling Malinois or similar breeds. Magno prefers the company of female dogs or passive dogs, and he can be a great companion to an active female dog. His play can be rough, so a household with a second dog who is up for some lively interaction would be ideal. Magno’s sociable and affectionate nature shines through in every interaction. He craves cuddles and affection, reflecting the beautiful balance of giving and receiving love. This makes him the perfect companion for someone who can appreciate the depth of his loyalty and commitment. If you are an experienced dog owner ready to welcome a spirited and loving Belgian Malinois into your life, Magno is eagerly waiting to be your devoted partner. He is ready to make a lasting bond and become the loyal companion you’ve been searching for. They are currently in Mexico awaiting a family committed to a 10-day trial. If interested, please apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org. The adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccines, a negative heartworm test, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. ##2048680##
