Story
We adopted Apollo from a rescue in Texas July 2025. He’s abt 10 months old, estimated dob 5/9/2025. We are looking for a loving family, who will take good loving care of him. He’s the sweetest, smartest young dog and we are devastated to have to find him a new home. We were told he’d be good w/ cats, but he shouldn’t be in a home with them. He runs after them and plays too rough. He has been trained w/ many commands (“sit”, “down”, “wait”, “shake”, “crate”), mat trained, and is being retrained on walking (“with me”) after cold weather (no walking) causing him to forget. We are still working on “come.” He loves doing puzzles, running around outside, chasing balls, and playing a game of being chased. He also loves hugs and being pet, and enjoys chewing on sticks he finds in the yard. Vet says to neuter after 12mo old. He has added fiber and probiotics added to food after parasites when younger, which is likely only needed temporarily.

Story
Goofy, energetic, smart, and loving. That is Bennett in a nutshell. He is trained to all basic commands, and can be easily taught new ones as long as there are treats involved. He loves all humans and other dogs, and will be sure to always be at your side. He loves walks, fetch, stairing out the window at critters, and to sleep on top of his human. Bennett would benefit most from someone with a yard, and a semi regular schedule.
