Meet Ellie (aka Ellie Belly)! This 1-year-old, 16 lb mini Bernedoodle is the sweetest, silliest, spunkiest little girl you’ll ever meet. She actually smiles when you say her name! Ellie loves dogs of all sizes, adores kids, and believes every human is her new best friend. She’s potty trained in her foster home, crate trained (may protest for a minute, then settles), and walks nicely on a leash. She’s a smart, high-energy doodle who will thrive with an active family. Think walks, playtime, enrichment toys, backyard zoomies, and being included in daily life. She won’t do well in an environment where she’s left alone for long periods of time. You’ll notice she currently has a shorter haircut. When she came to us, her coat was very matted, so she needed a shave-down for a healthy fresh start. With regular grooming, her fluffy, shaggy coat will grow right back in. And at night? Total cuddle bug. She sleeps in bed and will happily snuggle close all night long. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, playful girl with the best smile, Ellie Belly is your girl! Jojo is a wonderful pet. She is loving, well mannered, and responds well to basic commands such as sit, place, and down. She is a loving companion and enjoys being beside you and laying at your feet. She is especially fond of walks in the park and car rides. As a bernadoodle, Jojo is non-shedding, and hypoallergenic. Jojo does not appreciate young children pulling or poking at her and has been known to nip when she becomes agitated. She can be a bit nervous around new people, but once she knows you, she is all in.
