Bartholomew is a 2.5 year old, 22 pound Miniature American Shepherd/Poodle Mix (Aussiedoodle mix) with a gentle, sensitive nature. He may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience, he quickly warms up and becomes a devoted, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Though Bart enjoys playing with other dogs outside of the house, he doesn’t want to share his human or humans with other dogs, so he needs to be an only dog in his forever home. He has great leash manners and enjoys exploring the world on walks, as well as running freely in his foster’s fenced yard. Bart is a smart and food motivated pup who enjoys learning and thrives with positive reinforcement. He loves attention from his people and will happily soak up all the scratches and affection you have to offer. Bart would do best in a home without children under 16. With the right environment and a patient adopter, Bart will blossom into a loyal and loving lifelong companion. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $400, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
*You MUST live in Metro Atlanta to adopt Liza Minnelli* Liza Minnelli is a 5 year old, 13 lb Cavapoo mix (our best guess). She is shy at first and needs time to open up before becoming comfortable. Once comfortable, she loves to explore the yard and run around with her dog foster siblings. Liza is not comfortable on a leash and therefore REQUIRES a fenced in yard. Liza would thrive best in a quiet home, with no children under 12. Liza is not house trained and will need patience to continue learning. Liza sees a crate as a safe space, and is crate trained and likes to spend time in her crate when she is overwhelmed or nervous. Liza did test positive for heartworms. Her treatment is covered in the adoption fee and will be performed at one of our partner veterinarians, which is why she must remain local. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $450 which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.
