Meet Denali, a three-year-old breeder release mini golden doodle with a heart as golden as her fur. She is a petite girl at 18 lbs. She is learning to be a family pet and this will take some time. Denali's journey so far has led her to adore her foster momma, whom she clings to like Velcro. Though she may initially be timid, with a little patience and understanding, she warms up to those who show her kindness. What Denali truly needs is a home with patient, dog-experienced individuals who will meet her where she is, helping her to build confidence and trust at her own pace. She's shy, sweet, and undeniably cute - a true testament to her resilience despite her past hardships. While Denali thrives in the company of other dogs and older, respectful children. She's nervous around small children and needs a space where she feels secure. As for cats, her interactions are unknown, but with the right guidance, she's likely to adapt well to a home with experienced feline companions. For Denali to be the best version of herself, she will need another social dog to help her trust people and build her confidence as a house dog. She is working on leash training, but a fenced yard is preferred. She has not pottied on a leash. Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee is $300 plus tax.
