Hello, my name is Rusty. I’m a breeder release, and I came into rescue with my very best friend Fancy, another lovely mini poodle. We were a breeding pair. Life is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me, but with time and kindness, I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’m very shy around people because I didn’t get much socialization early in life. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I become shyly playful, especially with my foster mom. I’m still figuring out this whole “being loved” thing, and patient humans make all the difference. Where I truly shine is with other dogs. If you have a friendly, social dog at home, I bloom into a bouncy, happy boy. Without another dog, I become lonely and unsure—so I must have a canine companion in my forever home. My dream home would even include my bestie Fancy; she’s a slightly bigger version of me, wonderfully outgoing, and she helps me feel brave. My potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best every day. I am not currently leash trained but working on it. Best in a fenced yard. Evangeline and her two sisters were surrendered to a shelter in Missouri after spending their early days living alone on a farm with little to no human interaction. Their mom is a terrier mix and their dad was a poodle- which makes them... Toodles?! Evangeline is a timid girl who will need time, patience, and love to build her confidence. She would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes and teach her that the world isn’t so scary. She’s still working on her potty training and will need continued support as she adjusts to home life. At 1.5 years old, Evangeline is the confident, wavy-coated leader of her litter. With long, loose curls that bounce as she plays, she turns heads and wins hearts wherever she goes. But Roxy’s beauty is matched by brains—she’s incredibly intelligent and picks up on cues with ease. She’s playful like her sisters, but she’s also ready for more: more learning, more bonding, more adventure. ✨ Smart and intuitive 🎾 Loves outdoor play and indoor snuggles 🧠 Thrives with regular, attentive training 💛 Craves connection and companionship 💃 Rocking those signature curls like royalty Evangeline is ready to blossom with someone who sees her potential and gives her the time, attention, and love she deserves.
