For an application please go to Rpacirescue.org. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Darla is actually Merle, but due to her new haircut it is hard to see that. She is fun loving easygoing and a delightful young lady. She will make anyone a great pet, we were told at the surrender that she was great with children, but we have not had time to verify. Before her adoption we will verify if she is for sure kid and cat friendly. We know she is great with other dogs. She was saved from a backyard breeder and she is just a wonderful sweet girl who is very appreciative for her new life!!! For more info please do not hesitate to contact us.

Maggie Poodle Female Apricot ​8 years old 13 lbs Meet Maggie: a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She is house-trained, smart, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay", especially when treats are involved! Maggie adores head and neck scratches and would happily curl up in your lap whenever you'll let her. While she's a little cautious when meeting new people, she simply prefers to approach on her own terms. Give her a little time, and she'll soon become part of the family. Maggie enjoys walks, loves car rides where she can watch the world go by, and is always ready for a game. Around other dogs, she's calm and politely curious without being overly interested, and she's generally a quiet dog who only barks when she has something important to say. Maggie is a sensitive soul and is frightened by objects being waved over her head, so she'll need a patient family that understands her past and helps her continue building confidence. She also prefers not to be left alone for long periods and thrives when she can spend time with her people. Whether she's curled into the tiniest little ball for a nap, stretching out to her full length, or bouncing happily alongside you on a walk, Maggie has a way of bringing joy wherever she goes.
