Story
Holly is a 3 year old cavipoo, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on prevention. She uses a pee pad for her business but now that she is in foster care she is learning to go outside for potty breaks. Holly was a gift for an elderly couple to get them out and about more. Unfortunately the couples health is failing and Holly needs a new home. This little girl is 17# but could stand to shed a few pounds. She is a snuggle bug and oh so sweet. She is good with kids, dogs, and cats. Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Adjectives to describe Sage - Affectionate, People-friendly, Curious, Dependent, Mischievous, PLAYFUL, Trainable, Stubborn, Smart, Vigilant, and Energetic. 2. Limitations: - Pulls on a leash when taking a walk. - Short attention span to cues (E.g., Off, Sit, Down, Wait, or Stay). - Submissive/excitement urination. 3. Behavioral Issues: - Jumping on people and couches. - Excessive barking when left alone for too long, sometimes at other dogs, and for attention. - Feels anxious when being alone and will do things such as messing with sleeping/crate area.

REX Standard Poodle Male Black 21 months 60 lbs​ ​ REX - charming companion, known for his gentle and reserved nature.  While he may be quiet, his tail wags enthusiastically to greet those he loves. Rex thrives on human company and enjoys the presence of multiple individuals, becoming more lively and engaged. Remarkably, he is impeccably trained and has maintained a flawless record of indoor cleanliness, never once having had an accident. He is a well-behaved companion, walking nicely on the leash. Initially shy around other dogs, he's gradually becoming more comfortable and friendly, showing a willingness to interact with them. He has a fondness for chewable toys, which he enjoys chewing on. With patience and love, Rex is sure to blossom into a cherished member of the family. With proper training and time to become more comfortable, he will make an amazing companion. We recently discovered REX has an eye issue and recently had him checked by an Opthamologist. It has been ascertained he has genetic juvenile cataracts and is an excellent candidate fir cataract surgery. As a rescue, we do not have the funding for this, so have decided to try and find an adopter who is prepared to agree to do this for him and in return will not ask for an adoption donation.
