Winona has been through a lot. We don't know all the details of her life but she was discovered in a local residents yard, where she had been hiding for several days. She's still fairly timid but she's a gentle girl and is starting to come out of her shell. Winona will need a quiet, adult home with yard access. She loves to lean into you and snuggle up. Even though, Winona is a big girl, she thinks she's a lap dog. She's athletic as well and once comfortable, she will love walks and hikes. Story
This exceptional boy was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Barstow California. What an amazing dog this is. He is such a cuddler, like roll on his back and rub his belly kind of guy. He will be a perfect companion for someone who likes to do life with their dog by their side. Carl would also do well in a family environment. We are guesstimating him to be 3-4 years old. He is very special. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Story
We got Luna when she was about 3-5 months old. She is now about 5 years old. We would like her to go to a good family that will take good care of her and will treat her well. She is a very happy and energetic dog. She loves walks, playing, and being out. She gets along well with other dogs and kids. She is crate trained, usually out and about during the day and in her crate during the night. Unfortunately, I was recently hospitalized and I can no longer take care of her as I once did. We would like for whoever chooses to take her, to treat her well and care for her with lots of love.
