Story
Hello from Texas! I am a pretty 7-month-old, 42-pound Bernese Mountain Dog/Labrador Retriever mix puppy named Bella, and I am looking for a forever home. My mama was a pregnant stray when she was found in the Rio Grande Valley (see her picture). She had 2 beautiful puppies on 8/18/25, my brother Scooby and I, and we have all been living in a foster home ever since. I am now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a wonderful East Coast family! UPDATE: Scooby was just adopted, so now it's my turn! I am a very sweet and friendly girl with lots of playful energy, and I make friends easily with all people, young and old, kitty cats, and other dogs. I enjoy all the standard dog games like tug-o-war, chasing balls, romping and running with Scooby and my doggy friends, and chewing on doggy toys. I am very affectionate and snuggly, and I don't mind sharing kisses and getting some cuddle-time in, curled up on your lap like a lap dog, or snuggled next to my new senior doggy friend! I am just a wonderfully sweet girl, already housebroken, and doing great with leash walking. My foster mom says I am a sweet and obedient pup who will make a wonderful addition to any family! Inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Our girl Trixie is ready for her debut. Her gorgeous, good looks are the icing on the cake. What is underneath the exterior is even more intriguing. She is a 5-year-old Bernese mountain dog and weighs around 95 pounds. Life circumstances changed for her former owner, so Trixie was surrendered to us through no fault of her own. She is hopeful and looking forward to finding the perfect fit for her with her forever family. She is good with other dogs and cats. She needs another dog to live her best life so that she can pick up and follow cues to have her inner confidence emerge. She can express some nervousness, and she will require a quiet home and an owner with lots of patience who can provide comfort, care and security as she navigates through her new home life. Having one or more resident dog or dogs around will help her to adjust smoothly and live her best life. A resident companion canine for Trixie is a must so she can be the best canine family member possible. She does well with human attention and loves belly rubs. She is a medium energy gal so a bit of active with regular exercise and certainly lots of attention is the right combination to bring her into the family unit.Trixie is a bit of an escape artist and even with an outdoor fence she will need to be leashed as she is normally on alert to find ways around a fence. She will need a secure fenced in area/backyard with consistent supervision as she works on her leash skills. She is also working on her crate training skills. Trixie will need time, and a committed owner to help her learn her skills so she can be the best canine companion possible. She is a professional at her housetraining and will demonstrate how well she does to her new family. Although she is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can happen while adjusting to a new home environment. One thing is for certain and that is Trixie loves her humans. She thrives on tender loving care. For Trixie all roads lead to the happiness she knows she will find with her one and only family.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Trixie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.March 27, 2026, 6:05 am

Story
Coco is the sweetest of girls and is looking for her forever family. Watch video here https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1896V157zZ/ She is a little shy and prefers a calm environment. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $350.
