Story
Dallas is a 55 lb, 1½-year-old hound mix with a gentle heart. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, his sweet personality quickly begins to shine. Once he feels comfortable, Dallas loves being close to his people and soaking up all the love and affection he can get. He especially enjoys spending time outside, whether he’s exploring the yard or simply relaxing in the fresh air. Dallas would thrive in a patient home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and show just how loving he truly is. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted companion, Dallas could be the perfect match. 🐾

Story
I got Bubby about five years ago, he's around 10 years old at this point but he's truly the best and weirdest dog I've ever met. Bubby hardly barks, but he does in fact grumble like a goblin when he wants attention and has been known to politely ask to lay on the bed by putting his head on the edge of it and looking at you with big, glassy, eyes. I try not to give in, but I usually crack immediately. I've been in and out of homelessness for a few years now and it's been really difficult but I've had Bubby as a support for the entirety of it. He's been my pal for most of my adult life and he's the sweetest, most gentle cuddle bug I could have ever asked for. I recently landed a job that pays a living wage and am now finally starting to reach financial security but my credit is really terrible and the only landlord I've been able to find that has been willing to look past it doesn't allow for dogs in the apartment. It's really crushing me to let Bubby go, but I know he deserves better.
