Story
Are you ready to welcome a furry friend into your life? Meet Denaly (pronounced Denali), a 2.5 year old male Great Pyrenees with a heart full of love and an insatiable craving for car rides and belly rubs! Denaly is a gentle giant who adores being around people, and he's on a quest to find his furever family.    Denaly is the embodiment of love and loyalty. He's a gentle giant who will follow you around with unwavering devotion.  Whether you're on a leisurely stroll in the park or just relaxing at home with a 6 ft+ privacy fence, Denaly will be right by your side, offering a warm and loving presence. He's a great playmate for children (8yo+) and an excellent companion for adults. His friendly disposition makes him an instant hit with everyone he meets.   This lovable Great Pyrenees gets along well with other dogs, is potty trained, and knows a few basic commands. His mild-mannered personality and sociable nature make him an excellent choice for families looking to add a four-legged member to their household. Will you be the one to complete his story? Story
Hello. Appa has been staying with us as a favor for a work colleague for a few months now. His family decided that they cannot take him back. He is a very sweet boy. He loves to watch and be with his human family. He currently is in a home with three adults and two female dogs. He likes to play with our dogs. He knows several commands. He knows his name, come, sit and walks on a leash without pulling. He loves to go on walks when it is not too hot. He gets excited for the words "good boy" and enjoys milkbones. He loves to chew on hard bones in the evening. He likes to work at night and protect the house. He is a terrific watch dog. He loves and will roll over for belly rubs. His eyes are very sweet. He likes to be brushed and groomed by his human. We are not asking for an adoption fee but if you are interested you could donate to your local rescue or shelter instead. All of his shots and flea/tick meds are up to date. He is ready for his forever home.

Story
FRIEDA ~~ Great Pyrenees, Spayed Female, White with Black Smudges, DOB: 4/15/2024, 79 pounds If you are a lover of giant breeds and Great Pyr's, come meet Frieda. She is a super sweet and sometimes shy girl who is a big fan of other dogs, cats, children, toys, swimming in the pool and would love to meet you! LIKES: Other dogs: We recommend a warming up and "getting to know you" phase for new dogs, but Frieda generally does well with other friendly and non-aggressive dogs. Cats:  LOVES cats Kids:  LOVES kids, even small children FAVORITE ACTIVITIES:  Swimming in the pool, playing with toys -- the noisier the better, loves squishmallows (to carry around), going for car rides, ok on leash but may pull when excited, LOVES hugging everyone and we are still working on not jumping up on people COMMANDS: Frieda knows the following commands: sit, paw, other paw, lay down, wait. ALLERGIES/DIET:  May be allergic to chicken -- and is currently on a lamb based diet. 4 cups per day. FUN FACT:  At meal times, Frieda, has to be told to "wait" and will only start eating with "that'll do." THINGS TO BE AWARE OF: Frieda needs a fenced backyard, as she is an escape artist, like many Pyrs. She will need a tall fence as she is capable of getting over a 4 foot fence. Frieda was recently spayed and microchipped, is up to date on all of her vaccines and vet services and is ready to find her forever home. If you are a huge fan of gentle giant breeds, come meet Frieda and see if she is a perfect match! Her adoption fee is $145 and includes one month of Simparica Trio to go home (for heartworm disease, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites) and should remain on this preventative once a month for life. Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272.   Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. No appointment is needed to meet any of our adoptable strays. Adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing.
