Story
Introducing Nola, the adorable Bernedoodle puppy on a quest to find her forever family! At just 7 months old, Nola is a bundle of love and energy, ready to bring joy and excitement into the lives of her future companions.   Nola's playful spirit knows no bounds, making her the perfect companion for active individuals or families with older children who can match her enthusiasm. While she adores older kids, her exuberance may be a bit overwhelming for younger ones, so she's best suited for households with children over the age of 6.   When she's not romping around in the backyard or going for long walks, Nola is a cuddle enthusiast, always ready to snuggle up close and shower her loved ones with affection. Her gentle nature and loving demeanor make her a cherished member of any family.   To help Nola thrive, she's looking for a forever home with a fenced-in yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off some of that puppy energy. Additionally, Nola would thrive in a household with another dog companion to keep her company and join in on her playful antics.   If you're searching for a loyal and loving furry friend to complete your family, look no further than Nola. Come meet this delightful pup today and discover the endless love, laughter, and adventures she has to offer!   She’s doing really well with house training too!  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
We got Dash from a puppy mill and learned quickly how horrible they are! He got Parvo at just 8 weeks and had to be hospitalized for a week. We knew he was so sweet and special from the start. Dash will be a year and 5 months this month. He’s a super playful extremely cuddly and loving boy. He loves to be trained but needs consistency with his training which is where we have failed him. He no longer goes in the house as he has a set schedule for being out and being walked. However he gets quite anxious if he does not have enough of an outlet and starts to chew the kids toys and other house items. No one loves as hard as Dash. He is the most affectionate yet we have realized we are not structured or outdoorsy enough to meet his puppy needs. We feel he will have a better quality of life with a family that isn’t traveling most of the week and can be more hands on. We are devastated! We love him so much!

Story
Meet Rembrandt, the majestic Great Pyrenees with a soul as deep as the night sky. At four years old, Rembrandt exudes an air of quiet wisdom and solitude, reminiscent of the great artist after whom he is named. While his peers frolic and play, Rembrandt often finds solace in the serenity of his own company, preferring introspection to boisterous antics.Unfortunately, Rembrandt came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive, but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for him at no additional cost to you! While Rembrandt is undergoing heartworm treatment, he will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give him a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high and the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like Rembrandt to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter. If you want to learn more about Rembrandt and how the FTA process works, please stop by or call us at 678-965-7185!

Story
Meet Saul - Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 4-year old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 99 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am however VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean, but that's because I am a gentleman. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all - it makes me look even cuter! I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! Love, Saul!

Story
He is a super sweet boy around the age of 1 year old. He is Great Pyrenees and completely white in color. He loves loves to walk, play with other dogs and good with kids. Unknown on the cat part and doesn’t seem to have a prey instinct at all. He would need to be in a home with a fenced in yard and he isn’t fond of a dog crate at all. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
