Story
Cayman is 8 months old, and a rescue from an animal shelter in north Georgia. He is nothing but a big lap dog, always wanting to lay at your feet and be lazy. He is highly intelligent and easily trained, he even rings a bell by the front door when he needs to go outside (although he will have tiny accidents when he gets excited and meets new people). He’s an extremely patient dog, he loves to lay down and let our toddler climb all over him, and has played well with other dogs of all sizes at the local dog park. We love him, and he has been such a joyful part of our family however we have recently started to not be home a majority of the day and he needs more freedom and attention than we are able to give him right now.

Zelda is a beautiful almost 4-year-old Great Pyrenees–Golden Retriever mix with a gentle soul and a loving heart. She’s a thoughtful girl who takes a little time to build trust, but once she does, her affection is deeply rewarding. Zelda bonds best with people who respect her space and let her move at her own pace.Zelda prefers to be the only dog in her home, as she does not enjoy sharing her space or food with other dogs. She thrives in a calm environment where her routines are predictable and peaceful. So far, her favorite things include basking in the sunshine, enjoying quiet mornings, relaxing through lazy afternoons, and, of course, treats—which are truly the way to her heart.We’re still learning all the things that make Zelda happiest, but it’s already clear she’ll do best with a patient, understanding adopter looking for a loyal companion who appreciates the simple joys of a serene life.Currently, I am available for adoption. If you`re interested in adopting me, please fill out an application online or call the Humane Society of Forsyth County at 770-887-6480. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 or Friday and Saturday 1-5. All of my love and kisses!

Her favorite thing in the world is simply being by your side — whether that’s resting her head on your knee, nudging your hand for more love, or following you from room to room to make sure she doesn’t miss a moment of your company. Maddison would do best with a family that has a secured back yard, as she loves to bask in the sunshine but is always curious about what else is out there. She would thrive in a calm home where she can relax, feel secure, and be close to her person. She would do well with someone who can give her the reassurance and companionship she craves. If you’re ready for a loving, devoted friend who will remind you every day how special you are, Maddison is waiting to meet you. Maddison currently weighs about 68lbs., is approximately 5 years old (est. birth date 10/15/2020), and her adoption fee is $185. Maddison has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
