Story
Casey is a smart at 5 month old as a puppy with puppy energy but loves being with people. She is attentive, affectionate and loves playing. She is potty trained, crate trained and knows some commands. She gives kisses and sits. Working on come, lay down and paw. She is microchipped, UTD on vaccines. She needs to be spayed. She would be a great addition to a loving family!Update: At 6 months old, she has grown into her own. She is very smart and inquisitive, very caring and alert, very attentive and affectionate. She Loves being outside and Loves chasing animals but loves being around people most. She loves meeting new people. She is left in the crate when alone and does great. She just sleeps on her bed or chews on her bone and gives us no problems. She is usually easy-going except when she gets a sport of energy and runs her zoomies the passes out on the couch.. We love when she gives us her side eye, saying, I always have one eye on you. She uses the doggie door and she has a keen sense for hunting in our opinion, although shes never caught anything. She is a great listener and is coming along way with commands. She knows sit, lay down, stay, wait and working on drop. Theres been no accidents except occasional happy pee, and she is always so excited to see us. She loves walks, especially long walks and we think would be great for someone that goes on long jogs being great on lead. She would benefit with someone that has a back yard, has had dogs before and is strong in training a puppy and great with longs walks or has dogs to play with. Story
Our dear Sadie is ready for a forever home to call her own. She is thought to be around 2 years old. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, has a microchip and overall in great health. She weighs 66 pounds, she needs to gain maybe 10 pounds. Sadie spent her short life in a puppy mill type situation. Sadie is a sweet loving girl. She needs time to trust and move forward. She is timid and shy but that is normal for Berners like Sadie who have spent their lives just having pups. She really does not care for loud male voices, she would do best with more mild manner males. Her forever family should be patient, patient, patient with her. While at the same time work with her to bring her forward a few steps each day. Her adopter will need to teach her all of those pesky house manners. She needs an adopter who will slowly introduce her to the world since it is all new to her. For this reason she is considered a flight risk at this time and requires a yard with 6 ft fencing. Sadie is not a fan of small animals of any shape or type, so no cats, small dogs or any other small animals in the home. She seems to do okay with big dogs. She is currently living with 2 male Berners. She is slowly starting to play with the Berners. She has never lived with small children. Small children will be too much for her to handle. Teenagers should be fine. Once Sadie begins to trust and bond with you, she is a love bug. She will lay with you for hours on the couch for pets. Sadie is a sweet girl who wants to forever home to call her own, one that will work with her and slowly introduce her to the world. We do not transport our Berners. Adopter should plan to travel to Sadie's foster home in Morrisville, PA to pick her up. Her adoption fee is $450.00. If you think Sadie just might be the girl for you, please complete our adoption application and submit to: info@bfwrescue.org.

Story
Ivan is a 4 month old male bernese mountain dog/poodle mix who weighs 35 pounds. These puppies are as fun as they come and they are going to be wonderful new family members. Ivan loves to spend time outside looking for sticks and he has learned to play fetch as well. At his foster home, he is now almost fully house trained and is doing well with crate training too. Ivan loves to play with other dogs, is super smart and is easy to train. He does appear to shed, so would not be matches for families that have allergies. We estimated that they will be large sized dogs when they become full grown due to their current size at such a young age. Story
Meet Sushi! Sushi is a 5 year old spayed female Bernese Mountain Dog/Standard Poodle who weighs 66.9 lbs. She was born at a breeding kennel and kept as a "pet," though she lived outside. She grew up with the children, and she raised some puppies herself. After she wouldn't leave the barn cats alone, the family decided it was best for her to be rehomed instead of having to be locked away in a kennel. We are grateful for the opportunity to keep Sushi safe and provide her with the chance at finding the devoted family she desperately deserves! Transitioning to living in a home versus roaming free on a farm has gone much smoother than we expected for this girl! She does enjoy being outside but seems content to be inside as well. She absolutely loves people and the attention they give her. In her world, strangers are non-existent! Sushi has gotten along well with other dogs but will need a home without cats. Training is off to a great start, and she seems eager to please. Her tail is in constant motion and her smile stretches from ear to ear. We cannot wait to find this sweet girl the devoted forever family she so desperately deserves... could that be yours??Help us continue to step up for dogs like Sushi and consider donating towards their medical care: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/all-4-paws-rescueInterested in adopting?
