Story
Casey is a smart at 8 months old. She is microchipped, UTD on vaccines. She was spayed April 19. She would be a great addition to a loving family! She is very smart and inquisitive, very caring and alert, very attentive and affectionate. She Loves being outside and Loves chasing animals but loves being around people most. She loves meeting new people. She is crate trained and does great. She just sleeps on her bed or chews on her bone. She gets a sport of energy and runs her zoomies then passes out on the couch by 8:30pm. We love when she gives us her side eye, saying, I always have one eye on you. She uses the doggie door and she has a keen sense for hunting in our opinion, although shes never caught anything. She is a great listener and is coming along way with commands. She knows sit, lay down, stay, wait, come and working on drop. Theres been no accidents except occasional happy pee, and she is always so excited to see us. She loves walks, especially long walks and we think would be great for someone that goes on long jogs being great on lead. She would benefit with someone that has a back yard, has had dogs before and is strong in training a puppy and great with longs walks or has dogs to play with. You can apply to adopt at: https://rileyrescue.org/dog-adoption/ You can see our available dogs at: https://rileyrescue.org/available-dogs/All dogs and puppies have been seen at least once by a licensed veterinarian, have had age appropriate vaccinations and have been deemed healthy for adoption.

Story
Meet Storm! Storm is a 4-5 month old Bernadoodle boy looking for his furever home.  Storm has made a lot of progress in his foster home, but storm is still learning to trust humans.  He needs a patient and somewhat calm family with another confident dog in the home. Ideally in a quiet neighborhood as he gets scared from loud noises.  A fenced in yard is also required. He will absolutely not do well with anyone yelling or being too disciplinary. He needs patience and positive reinforcement from the entire family.  He requires no young children.   Storm is quite calm and reserved, not a ton of puppy energy. He likes treats and toys and sniffing around his fosters patio/apartment. He LOVES his snuffle mat! He is so sweet and very well behaved, not destructive at all, super gentle and submissive, and becoming more and more curious about his surroundings. He loves his foster sister Clemie (a small yorkie), he follows her around with his tail wagging throughout the day and crouches down low to her level to play with her. He is up to date on vaccines.  He is only available for adoption in NJ or the Philadelphia area, and a neuter deposit is required. Story
Meet Sushi! Sushi is a 5 year old spayed female Bernese Mountain Dog/Standard Poodle who weighs 66.9 lbs. She was born at a breeding kennel and kept as a "pet," though she lived outside. The family decided it was best for her to be rehomed so she could live the life she deserves inside a home. We are grateful for the opportunity to keep Sushi safe and provide her with the chance at finding the devoted family she desperately deserves! Transitioning to living in a home versus roaming free on a farm has gone much smoother than we expected for this girl! She does enjoy being outside but seems content to be inside as well. She absolutely loves people and the attention they give her. In her world, strangers are non-existent! Sushi has gotten along well with other dogs but will need a home without cats. She loves to play with her canine foster brother and has been great with every dog she has met! Training is off to a great start, and she seems eager to please. She is crate-trained and will automatically go to her crate when she sees her foster mom preparing her meals because she knows that is where she is served. Her tail is in constant motion and her smile stretches from ear to ear. We cannot wait to find this sweet girl the devoted forever family she so desperately deserves... could that be yours??Help us continue to step up for dogs like Sushi and consider donating towards their medical care: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/all-4-paws-rescueInterested in adopting? Story
Meet our newest mixed breed puppies. They are about 12 weeks and were saved from a puppy mill in Lancaster county. They are shy right now, but are coming around to life outside of the mill. As with all dogs we save from puppy mills, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. Puppy mill dogs tend to do best in a home without young children as well (10+), though this determination is made on a case by case basis. Each pups adoption fee of $800 covers their vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter. Please apply to be considered at our website www.angelsretreat.org
