With a zest for life and a heart full of curiosity, Prince thrives on spending time with his canine companions, joyfully exploring the play yard during puppy parties. Treats are a highlight of his day, and he eagerly accepts them from his caretakers with a wagging tail. A curious adventurer, Prince is always on the lookout for new discoveries, peeking through the holes of his kennel during any off-site trip and seeking out new adventures around every corner. While he may initially be a bit nervous, he quickly warms up to kind and gentle friends, showcasing his affectionate nature. Though not yet a master leash-walker, Prince is eager to learn and can certainly be taught. Ready to bring love and laughter into his forever home, Prince awaits his chance to be adopted from National Mill Dog Rescue. Could you be the one to welcome this spirited explorer into your life?- - - - - -Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
