Hello, I'm Goose. I am a Bichon Frise dog that came in with several others. We were confiscated from a backyard breeder that had over 50 dogs. We were all very filthy with matted fur and pretty thin. I am an older gentleman, estimated at 15 years old. But I am still quite spry and in good health. I have chronic dry eye that will require daily ointment for the rest of my life, but I tolerate my medication quite well. I'm lucky enough to have landed in a lovely foster home where they have learned that I adore belly rubs, cuddles and naps. I'm not a big fan of being left alone once I am attached to you, I like to follow my person like a shadow. I get along well with other dogs, but not so much cats. Unfortunately, I am not quite housebroken, but I do well wearing a belly band. So, if you have the extra room in your heart and home for a senior lovebug to live out his golden years, please consider giving me a chance!

Hello, I'm Diamond. I am a Bichon Frise dog that came in with several others. We were confiscated from a backyard breeder that had over 50 dogs. We were all very filthy with matted fur and pretty thin. We are what VOCAL calls a "Project Dog", which means, due to our background, we will need extra love and patience as we adjust to our new homes. We are very shy and not used to much human interaction. Nor do we really know how to walk on a leash or potty outside. I am the most scared and flighty of the group, so I will definitely need the extra work and TLC. I think with time in the right environment I will come around. I don't like to be alone so I would definitely need a confident dog friend to go home so that I can take comfort from them and they can help me learn to trust people. So, if you have the extra room in your heart and home for a dog that needs a little more work to learn how to trust and be a normal pup, please consider giving me a chance!

Hello, I'm Swan. I am a Bichon Frise dog that came in with several others. We were confiscated from a backyard breeder that had over 50 dogs. We were all very filthy with matted fur and pretty thin. I am an older lady, estimated around 14 years old, but am in decent health. I have cataracts so I have extremely limited vision, if any. I may also be mostly deaf. Despite that, I still get around pretty well and enjoy being pet. I'm lucky enough to have found a lovely foster home. These changes have been pretty confusing for me since I can't see or hear much, so I tend to cry a lot because I think I am alone and can't find my person. But they've discovered that I really just love to nap all day cuddled up on a lap, so my perfect home would be with someone retired or home all the time and looking for a new cuddle buddy. So, if you have the extra room in your heart and home for a sweet senior girl who is just looking for a warm lap to sleep on for the rest of her days, please consider giving me a chance!

We were all very filthy with matted fur and pretty thin. We are a bit nervous at first but warm up quickly. Due to our background we will likely need a little bit of extra love and patience in our new homes. I am a little bit more reserved than my friends, but come around quickly. I was overwhelmed for my grooming appointment due to fear and would need a little bit more patience. Once I know I can trust you, I will absolutely melt into your hands. I do well with other dogs my size and would likely benefit from having another friendly dog in the home with me!
