Story
This is "Sparky". He was on the euthanasia list at MDAS because he is blind. He is believed to be a Lhasa Apso and when pulled he was overweight at about 29 pounds. That was a year ago. He now weighs close to 50 pounds!!! He is always hungry and thirsty. He may have SARDS which would explain his blindness and appetite. Sadly there's no treatment for SARDS. We have run bloodwork, x-rays, and urinalysis. The adopter wants us to rehome him. "Sparky needs an angel. We are asking for a medical foster. We will cover his Veterinary bills. He needs to lose this weight! He needs exercise and a controlled diet. Presently he is alone about 9-10 hours a day. We are looking for a very special human to help us save "Sparky".
