My dream home is with a young retired or work-from-home family who has the time and love to share with me every day. Because of my size and needs, I’m looking for a calm, adults-only home — no small children, please. For the first 4 years of my life, I wasn’t really anyone’s “baby.” I was just a stud dog for a breeder, kept to make puppies and never truly loved for me. 💔 I didn’t know what it meant to be part of a family, to be cuddled on a couch, or to be told I was special. But things are different now—I was rescued, and for the very first time, I’m getting to learn what it feels like to be safe. 🐶💕 I’m a sweet, gentle 6-pound Maltese. I get along with dogs and even cats, and I’m looking for a forever home with someone experienced with little ones like me. I’m already neutered, vaccinated, and healthy—just waiting for my new chapter to begin. What I dream about most? Hello- my name is Naomi. I am part of a group of dog that Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took in after a breeder decided we were no longer of use. I am estimated at 3-4 yrs old and weigh about 15lbs. My teeth were in horrible condition so, along with all my other medical needs, my rescue took care of that as well! I am missing one of my back paws, but it doesn’t slow me down or bother me at all! I don't really even know I am a little different than the other doggos!I am a little shy at first, but have found I love to be held and petted. I will need help with leash training and potty training.
