Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.  Humphrey is no longer available for adoption, because of his declining health, SCMR feels it is in his best interest to keep him in his loving foster home for the time he has left.  A home that is familiar and where he enjoys his foster siblings.  He is 9 years old and is doing well considering his health issues.   If anyone would like to help sponsor his medical bills (treating his poly-arthritis), please feel free to send a donation, and be sure to let us know the donation is for him.  We will place your name on his website as a sponsor angel, if you would like.     Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.  To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.  NOTE: SCMR does not adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. You can help make a difference one dog at a time. If you would like to sponsor one of our babies, we accept online donations via PayPal or send a check to us at P.O. Box 2005, Chattanooga, TN 37409. Say hello to Frosty, a gentle and loving white Maltese who came to us from our local county shelter. He is 2 years old, and weighs 16 lbs. Despite his tough start, Frosty has shown nothing but sweetness. He is calm, friendly, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. His favorite place is curled up in a soft lap or snuggled next to you on the couch. Frosty is the kind of dog who brings comfort wherever he goes—quiet, affectionate, and always ready for a cuddle.
