Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.  Humphrey is no longer available for adoption, because of his declining health, SCMR feels it is in his best interest to keep him in his loving foster home for the time he has left.  A home that is familiar and where he enjoys his foster siblings.  He is 9 years old and is doing well considering his health issues.   If anyone would like to help sponsor his medical bills (treating his poly-arthritis), please feel free to send a donation, and be sure to let us know the donation is for him.  We will place your name on his website as a sponsor angel, if you would like.     Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.  To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.  NOTE: SCMR does not adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Penelope is a gorgeous little girl with an attitude. She is very sweet, but does have triggers. Penelope will require a home with no small children and a fenced yard. Once she gets to know you, she loves you. The ideal family would have experience with small dogs with an attitude. If you’re interested, please apply to furkids.org. Penelope Lou currently weighs about 8lbs., is approximately 11 years old (est. birth date 02/01/2015), and her adoption fee is $185. Penelope Lou has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
