Story
We would love to introduce you to China! She is almost eleven years young, is spayed, weighs about 25ish pounds and she is available for adoption! Since she is living in a foster home, the first step for you would be to email us at pets@michianapets.org to request an application. Once China feels safe with someone, the bond she has for them is so strong. She would be the absolute best friend to someone who needs a loyal companion. Since China is more introverted, a quiet home would suit her best. Her foster mom is retired and China loves that she gets to spend most of her day with her. She asks that whoever adopts her is patient while she is acclimating in the home and is learning the ropes of being house-trained. Even though China is technically a senior, she is very playful and active! She loves squeaky toys. Her foster mom is teaching her that it is okay to share her toys! She has lived with other dogs throughout her life and currently has several dog foster-siblings around her size, give or take. Kiddos should be around 11ish and older. China is such a happy sweetheart once she is adjusted. She will follow you like a shadow and will take any opportunity to snuggle close. She for sure will make a lucky person or two feel like they are the most important beings in the world.

Story
Maximus is a 15 year old Bichon. He is looking for a quiet comfy spot to live out his golden years. His favorite thing to do is NAP. He loves food and will bark for service when his foster mom takes too long to feed him. He gets very excited when he smells human food; his nose moves fast & he sits up and wants some. Even if he is sound asleep, nothing can deter him from searching for yummy food. He is a pretty laid back guy just looking to hang out on his pillow. He doesn't have much interest in toys or playtime, but he loves to snuggle. Max does get medicated baths currently, for a skin condition. We don't know yet if this will be a permanent thing. If you are looking for a low key guy to pal around with and snuggle on the couch, Max is your guy. He will make someone a great cuddle buddy.  ##2462911##

Story
Jordan is a delightful Bichon Frise puppy! He is a bouncy happy little fella. He will delight you and keep you smiling. He was born in a commercial breeding facility and had not been exposed to the same things a puppy born in your home has. However, he is adjusting very well and will blossom in his own family. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Jordan important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Jordan is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $1200..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Liam wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a very flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate, please fill out an application for adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us via email/ Do not call.
