Hi, I’m Mia. I’m just the perfect dog, and my sister Rosie and I are looking for a home with enough love for both of us. If I’m the perfect dog, then what about Rosie? She’s awesome too, don’t worry. We both weigh under 20 pounds and have great manners around the house. We do well on the leash and like walks. Usually, a couple times a day, Rosie and I get a playful spurt and have some fun together. We’d love to have a fenced yard to romp in and explore. Now, more about me and my perfection: I am 10 years old and a Shih Tzu mix. I’m an independent & chill gal who doesn’t require a lot of attention, but I'll cuddle up with you if that’s your thing. I’m very alert for a senior lady and have learned to play with toys while staying with my foster family! I love to look out the window from the comfort of my sofa. As an added service, I will happily sound the alarm if anyone approaches my territory. I have A+ potty habits and sleep all night in my bed on the floor in my foster mom’s room. I am a mature lady who knows all the house rules and am happy to meet everybody. See? Perfect! Add in Rosie, and we’re the ice cream sundae with the cherry on top. We’re both spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. Story
Lil Bit AKA Bitty is over 14 years old. She has been with us for over 10 years. I initially adopted her from a church family and she has been loved ever since. She absolutely loves being around people and is semi-okay with being around other dogs. She is skittish around big dogs. She tends to follow us around and doesn't like to be alone for a long time. She has never been around cats. She mostly just hangs out but does love to be outside. She is having some bladder issues now that she is older but she is house trained. She does have some trouble standing on her back legs when her nails are not maintained so we do keep her nails trimmed I have provided photos with different haircuts she's had.
