Snowball is a 10 year old Bishon. He is referred to as The Gentleman. He is always in a good mood. He walks well on a leash. Will stay by your side or lay in his dog bed. He is great with kids, other dogs and cats. He doesn't bark, loves to snuggle. He can get confused at times and is on heart meds. He is a very sweet older man who just wants a soft spot to call his own with whatever time he has left. would you consider this sweet older pup. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. You will be notified of outcome of your application within 1-3 days. 5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a leash and collar and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Meeting should be no longer than 1 hour. Our fosters are volunteers and we value and respect their time and personal commitments. - All members of the household (including other dogs) must be present. - Please be prepared to submit adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the dog will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the dog. Because we have a limited amount of foster homes, we cannot hold dogs past adoption. 6. Max is a very playful little dog, he is 5 months old, he loves children and playing with them, he is a polite and loving little dog, he loves going to the park and running in the grass, his favorite pastime is playing with his stuffed bone and making it ring, he really likes to listen to singing. of the birds in the morning, it's a puppy's dream, you’re going to love him. What I want most is to find the right person for him, who loves him and includes him as another member of the family and if they have children it would be even better because I know that he will not feel bored since he loves playing with them very much. children . I simply wish someone to love him and take care of him, since unfortunately I cannot do so.

Teagan came to us as a puppy 7 years ago. She was born April 10th. She is a very sweet dog, but also nervous/skittish. She doesn’t like to sit on laps or right next to you. She will sit an arms length away to be petted. She loves to sleep on her two beds. In the past, Teagan would pee on carpets or any type of rug. She’s hasn’t done that in months. We put down a puppy pad just in case, but again she hasn’t used any in months. We have a fenced in yard giving her the freedom to come in and out throughout the day. Teagan is a barker when someone comes to the door and if there is a delivery. She gets along great with our cats and two daughters. We are unable to keep her, as we are moving to NC. Our schedules will be changing and we will not be able to give her the attention and love she’s used to.

I am sweet, give kisses and enjoy attention. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Angel's Retreat recently took in 12 small breeder dogs from a mill that was shutting down. All of these dogs are small adults ranging from 3-7yrs old. These ladies have never lived in a home before and will need lots of love and TLC. They are not house trained. Most of them need extensive dental surgery as well as spays which will be covered by the rescue, but may require you to bring your adopted dog back to the rescue after adoption. These sweet girls deserve a second chance at life. If you can provide a quiet and loving home to one of these angels please apply at www.angelsretreat.org.
