Mr Peanut Butter is such a fun and smart dog! He is a Bichon-Poodle mix (mini), and very healthy; however, I had twin human babies last year and can't take care of Mr PB the way he deserves, and he is too wild & loud to be around little babies/toddlers, but he's great with older kids! Mr PB needs an owner who can keep up w/ his busy, playful personality & energy. He loves other dogs, chasing bubbles & water, playing fetch & wears himself out well playing w/ them, but when he gets bored unsupervised (while out of his crate) he WILL find something to chew. He also is a very VOCAL dog- he barks some, but he frequently makes loud "singing" whines to speak to us! to say he wants to play, eat what we're eating, wants out of his crate, etc. He is a puppy kindergarten grad & did 1 basic obedience class so he's got a great foundation of tricks and skills. Very treat & toy motivated if you want a dog to do fly ball or agility with!

My name is Bailey and I am a certified Cutie Pie Bichon boy that is just a tad over 2 years of age and weighing 10-12 pounds.  I am having to change my life around because my owner is a college student and her mom cannot care for me while she is off to college out of state.  My young student mom is so heartbroken but she realizes that she has no time for me while in school and she wants me to have lots of attention and care from someone that will treasure me. Yes, I need to be groomed, but right now grooming appts. are tough to get quickly.  My young mom contacted Critter Cavalry Rescue and was under a deadline for me to be surrendered immediately as she was going back to college the end of July.  I am neutered and fully vetted.  I prefer a mature environment with no small/young children as they make me nervous sometimes.  I am going to be a prize for someone that has lots of time to take me for long walks and maybe they will work from home or will be a SAHM too.  I have a long life ahead of me and I want someone that can care for me the next 15 years.  If you think you can check all my boxes on my wish list that includes, taking me on long walks, grooming every 12 weeks, dentals that I will need later as I get older, bloodwork that I will need as I approach 6 or 7 years and just overall quality time every day, then please apply. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!
