*************PLEASE READ*********************** WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY. WE ARE VOLUNTEERS. WE ARE REVIEWING ALL APPLICATIONS. WE RECEIVE MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS ON DOGS LIKE GIO. THE ADOPTION PROCESS MAY TAKE UPTO 2 WEEKS. . Gio is a 1 year old mixed breed dog weighing approximately 12 pounds. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He is learning leash manners. Gio is working on housebreaking and crate training. He is going to need a owner that will commit to the time to housebreaking him and have patience. He was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, where our rescue organization stepped in to give him a second chance. Currently, Gio is staying at a dog training doggy daycare, where he is learning how to walk on a leash for the first time. So far, he has shown himself to be very sweet and gets along with other dogs. We have received a lot of interest and applications for Gio. Our main goal is to find the right home for him that will commit to his training. Gio is fully vetted. He is neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworm, and has received his rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations. Additionally, he is on flea preventative. At this time, we are reviewing all applications for Gio

Story
I rescued Champion in 2021 from a home where he was not receiving love or attention. He requires all of my attention but life has shifted in a way that makes that a much more difficult task to achieve. I am the sole caregiver for my sick mother and I also now have a one year old. Champion is a sweet dog who loves cuddles. He does have some separation anxiety but possibly can be calmed with intervention

Story
Angel, Female, Age 12Angel is a sweet, people-loving senior girl with a young spirit! Friendly, smart, quiet (Unless she see food she wants LOL). She enjoys walks, yard sniffing, toys, and being near her humans. Although she loves being around people... she is not a "cuddle bug" She prefers to follow you around or come up to you when she is looking for pets or attention. She is pretty independent. She gets along with other dogs but doesn’t interact much ... basically ignores them but is absolutely fine around them. She is a healthy senior and has been vet checked. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines and weights 17 lbs.Angel likely lived a pampered life and may beg or bark for table food; She responds well to consistent, gentle  but firm guidance. Overall, she listens, though she can be a bit stubborn. Quirks to note: • Toy/Food possessive: She gets anxious and may growl you approach her toys or food while she’s eating or chewing on a toy. She can also (in the beginning) growl or nip if you try to take something away from her or pick something up too quickly that is near her startling her. Best for the first month or so to go slow till she is confident that you mean her no harm. She doesn’t like being picked up from the ground without warning: She growls as a warning if lifted in a way she dislikes, especially under the belly… but is okay being helped on her terms (quick scoops, jumping into car or onto couch with assistance when she wants it). Angel may have a past reason for her dislike of being lifted, but with understanding and respect of her boundaries, she is a loving, happy companion with lots of love to give. She’s truly a wonderful girl ready to bond with her forever people if you give her the time to decompress and to trust you! We are looking for a person or family of adults that have dog experience and that can be a STRONG PACK LEADER for her. Someone that is not put off by her occasional growl and that wants to adopt her to save her and give her a furever home. Won’t you give this little senior girl a home to live out her golden years with comfort and companionship. If you are interested in adopting Angel, please fill out an application!Angel is currently being fostered Northern New Jersey. Applicant's should live within 3 hours drive of there and be willing to drive to pick her up.Here is her album on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1074515968137710&type=3 Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
