Story
Bonnie is a 9 pound Bichon that was used for breeding in a puppy mill.  We were told that she was 9 years old but our vet thinks she’s younger based on the physical evaluation. Bonnie is a very sweet calm little girl whose tail is constantly wagging.  She is having a bit of a hard time trusting people but you can tell she is really eager to engage with her foster mom.  She has learned to use the deck stairs and travels well in the car.  She will need leash training for walks and on going house training support.  She is a very good eater and will try to push her way into another dog’s dinner if not supervised. Bonnie has adjusted well to life in her foster home with 3 other small breed dogs.  She has not yet barked and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her body. She will be going in for a spay and dentistry soon.  We will be accepting applications but Bonnie may not be ready for adoption until the first or second week of February. I’m pretty, kind, and I love people—everyone, without exceptions! I enjoy meeting new faces and sharing my affection wherever I go. I’m full of love, easy to adore, and ready to become your cheerful little companion. I can’t wait to meet my forever family!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I’m very affectionate and friendly! I happily approach not only people I know, but also strangers. I show my cute belly, and I can be pet and be held in your arms! I get along very well with children under the age of 13 as well!   · With Dogs: I love playing with my dog friends, especially with those of my size!  · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I enjoy my playtime outdoors and I am happy to snuggle and rest inside just as much!
