Story
Bonnie is a 9 pound Bichon that was used for breeding in a puppy mill.  We were told that she was 9 years old but our vet thinks she’s younger based on the physical evaluation. Bonnie is a very sweet calm little girl whose tail is constantly wagging.  She is having a bit of a hard time trusting people but you can tell she is really eager to engage with her foster mom.  She has learned to use the deck stairs and travels well in the car.  She will need leash training for walks and on going house training support.  She is a very good eater and will try to push her way into another dog’s dinner if not supervised. Bonnie has adjusted well to life in her foster home with 3 other small breed dogs.  She has not yet barked and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her body. She will be going in for a spay and dentistry soon.  We will be accepting applications but Bonnie may not be ready for adoption until the first or second week of February. If you think you would like to adopt Bonnie, please fill in our application for our assessment. Thank you. January 26, 2026, 10:27 am
