Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. ERIN YEAGER and his 2 siblings (ARMIN ARLERT and LEVI ACKERMAN) had a rough life. They were brought into the shelter as tiny kittens. We rescued them and sent them to a foster. But she kept them for a long time and returned them unsocialized. They deserved a chance to be adopted. And this boy has come a long way. One was 8 weeks old. A lady on Next Door reached out to our rescue partner and asked if she could help a kitten. She was found in a bush alone in Torrance, Ca. SHELL was feisty and so small. Meet SHELL, a reserved Diluted Calico Maine Coon from Torrance, California whose soft, pastel-toned fur reflects her gentle and quiet nature. With her long, fluffy coat that blends soft grays, creams, and whites, SHELL is a picture of elegance and grace. She may be shy at first, often preferring to observe her surroundings from a cozy, tucked-away spot, but with a little patience, she begins to open up in her own delicate way. SHELL has a refined personality and will allow pets—but only on her terms. She enjoys gentle head scratches and soft strokes when she's feeling comfortable, making her a true cat who values her independence. She’s skittish with sudden movements or new situations, but given time, her cautious curiosity will win out, and she’ll be quietly near, soaking up the calm energy of her environment. SHELL gets along well with other cats, blending into a multi-cat household without causing any fuss. Her mellow nature makes her unreactive to dogs, so she could live peacefully alongside a calm canine companion as long as they respect her space. While she’s never been around children, SHELL might do well in a quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace without too much hustle and bustle. The rescue that was fixing all the cats reached out for us to help ANGELA LOPEZ and her kittens. Meet BAILEY NUNE – A Sweet Maine Coon Tabby Looking for Her Forever Home! BAILEY NUNE is a beautiful young Maine Coon Tabby with a gentle spirit and a heart full of potential. She may be a bit shy at first, but with a little time and patience, you’ll see the sweet and loving side of this precious girl. BAILEY NUNE’s story began outside a home in Rialto, California, where she was living as an outdoor cat. Despite her beginnings, she’s proven to be a resilient and sweet soul who craves love and attention from those she trusts. While she’s still adjusting to the indoor life, she’s come a long way and is eager to find a family who will give her the space and care she needs to continue flourishing. BAILEY NUNE is a bit on the shy side, but she’s not one to shy away from a bit of affection. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours.
