Story
Linda (in Spanish means beautiful, cute) is likely a Lilac Point Birman (mix?). Her fur is supper soft, she has bright blue eyes, and cute ear tufts. Once she is accustomed to her person, and her surroundings, she is sweet, and playful. She likes to grab things with her paws, (including your hands sometimes!) Unfortunately, she must have had a difficult beginning. She is very nervous, and skittish in new surroundings, and with new people. I assume many people will want her, but only those who are thoughtful regarding her behavior will be considered. No Children, because loud noises, and any commotion will hinder her acclimation. No dogs, the ones I have don’t bother her, and she has become used to them… but she will hide. Other cats are not recommended but maybe one confident cat that she can emulate could be helpful? Possibly? Her personality is hidden inside her, once she overcomes her fear. Believe me it took quite some time. I can pick her up, but not for long. She is not currently a snuggly cat. But with time and loving patience… and lots of treats… miracles happen! She IS NOT an outdoor cat. She is microchipped, spayed, tested, and vaccinated. Story
This striking medium-haired boy is the definition of sweet. Super fluffy, gentle, and full of charm, Benson settles into a new space with curious confidence—carefully exploring every corner before circling back to rub lovingly around your legs for attention. He has a playful side, too! Chasing little balls, batting feather wands, and birdwatching from a cozy window perch are some of his favorite activities. He loves to be brushed, enjoys being held like a baby and hangs out wherever you are. He's found an unlikely buddy in Greg, his foster roommate, with whom he shares a love for chill vibes...hanging out together and even sharing a favored "cat bed with a view". They have similar friendly, laid-back purrsonalities, and are other-cat social. They have formed a close bond and are now seeking a home where they can remain together!. Estimated to be 1-2 years old, Benson was found as a stray who has defied the odds! He arrived very matted, and was unable to use one of his back legs due to a fractured toe. But, after lots of TLC and vet care, he's back on all fours and thriving. With his large, plush frame and magnificent bushy tail, we suspect there may be a bit of Maine Coon in his family tree. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate, and oh-so-handsome companion, Benson may just be your purrfect match. Meet him in Arlington, VA Updated 5/15/26

Story
Courtesy Post For Fellow Rescuer. This cat is not in our care. Meet Ringo — a rare find with a gentle soul 💙 Ringo has already proven he’s a survivor—and now he’s ready to be someone’s steady, gentle companion. At about 2–3 years old, this handsome boy was sadly left behind when his previous family moved, but he hasn’t let that define him. In foster care, Ringo has blossomed into a calm, affectionate cat who enjoys being near his people without demanding constant attention. He’ll greet you with soft leg rubs, keep you company around the house, and happily share your bed at night—just don’t expect him to be a lap cat. Ringo thrives in a quieter home where he can relax and feel secure. He gets along well with other cats and hasn’t been tested with dogs yet. One of his favorite pastimes is watching the world go by from a sunny window, fully embracing his new indoor life. He does enjoy being brushed (and needs it to keep his coat looking its best), though he’ll politely let you know when he’s had enough. Ringo is also a unique American Ringtail / Maine Coon mix, meaning his tail curls gently over his back—giving him an extra touch of charm. Fully vetted—neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV—Ringo is ready to go home. If you’re looking for a low-key, loyal companion who will quietly fill your home with warmth, Ringo might be your perfect match. Come meet him in Woodbridge, VA, and see just how special he is Updated 5/5/26
