Story
Basil is a petite Coonhound mix, found as a stray. We estimate her to be about 2 years old and she weighs only 45 pounds. If you've always wanted a Coonhound but thought they were too big, here's your girl. She is a friendly dog who is looking for a person or family that can appreciate her. Basil is very food motivated, which helps with training and takes treats so gently! Hounds love to run so her new family will need patience as she learns her boundaries. Basil is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and her adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay and microchip.

Story
Meet Scout! Age: est 4.5 months (est birthday 7/2/25). Breed: mom is bluetick hound/mix. Dad was unknown. Size: approx 20lbs, she is the smallest of her littermates. We believe she will be about 45&#226&#128&#14450ish lbs when full grown. Training: crate trained, working on leash and house training. He is just a pup so he will need continued guidance. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes, although she is shy. Personality: timid but curious, playful. Reason for rescue: Born to a stray mom. The pups had to be humanely trapped to be caught. They didn't recieve socialization before coming to us, but they have come so far! Scout is still coming out of her shell, but her personality has really blossomed. She needs a family that can continue to socialize her to all of the great things in life. Scout needs another dog in her new home to show her the ropes. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current vaccinations and preventatives. If you are interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application. Adoption fee: $75.November 21, 2025, 9:08 pm

Story
We found Lenny on the side of the road, eating trash, cold and wet. We were not looking to get a dog but couldn't leave him. As it is, we absolutely cannot keep him (or the Husky in the picture, who we also found..) due to being away for work literally over half the time. He is extremely sweet natured and loving, loves to cuddle, is great with all other dogs he's met and cats (we have a handful of cats), and little children/babies. Totally up to date on shots and has been neutered. I don't like the idea of rehoming a pet that believes he is "part of the pack" but due to life situations and being unable to give the time and attention that he requires, he NEEDS to go to a different home. I love this dog but cannot keep him and cannot afford to keep paying someone to take care of him when I'm gone for work. Ideally, someone would take him and the husky (Marshall) who has a similar story and is in the same situation as Lenny. But I understand if you can't take both. Probably 6yo.
