Shia is a 5 1/2 year old Black and Tan Coonhound weighing around 70 pounds and ready to steal your heart (and maybe a snack or two)! This handsome hound is full of personalityâ&#194&#128&#194&#148intelligent, affectionate, and eager to please. Shia absolutely loves other dogs and even gets along with cats! He thrives in environments with structure and consistency and has done well in both home settings and doggy daycare. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s housebroken, crate trained, and has been professionally trained to help him shine his brightest. He would do best in an adult-only home or one without small children. While incredibly friendly, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s still learning personal space with kiddos and needs a calm, patient environment where his boundariesâ&#194&#128&#194&#148especially around food and sleepâ&#194&#128&#194&#148are respected. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s made great progress with training and just needs a family who understands and continues the consistency he's benefited from. They just passed their first birthday, and we really do not know at all why two such gorgeous and well-behaved hounds are still at the Furry Friendzy rescue. The holidays are upon us.
